Convenient location. Plenty of towels, nice fresh linen and lots of kitchen equipment. Be improved by newer uncracked crockery and less cutlery....also there were tablets provided but no dishwasher..! Some items needed washing prior to use.
Laminated instructions stuck up would be useful.

Beadnell stay
Whilst location is great standard of cleanliness was not.we had to clean hob before use oven wasn't much better had to wash plates and cutlery and mugs as all had residue of left over food on them.there were big clumps of dust behind bed and side cabinets. On a plus there was plenty of hot water.outside whilst I love a wild garden this one was in need of attention very overgrown
This really spacious, yet small property was the perfect base for my Northumberland holiday. The owners were attentive and offered great tips for places to visit. The fully equipped kitchen made self catering easy. The pull down bed was comfortable too!
Had a great time, 5mins walk to beach, 10mins drive to Seahouses, restaurants, fish & chip shops ect, apartment was comfortable, clean although some of the crockery, glasses ect and cooking items pans needed a good scrub before we used them, the heating as controlled vie hive by the owners in Leeds 🤷🏻♂️ a little strange, thankfully the weather was hot all week, but we had a great time nice rest. Would I book this again? Yes!!!
Spent two weeks up in Northumberland in the property and it suited us perfectly. Accommodation was comfortable with loads of hot water and equipment. The garden was also an added bonus given that we were blessed with beautiful weather. We contacted the owners a couple of times regarding recycling etc and they were both helpful and quick to respond. The local area is great with a super pub (Craster Arms) and cafe (Salt Water cafe) mere minutes away and all the major sights and beaches are within easy reach. We had a car but an impressive bus service also runs from the village. Overall we can thoroughly recommend the property…..comfortable, well equipped well situated, utterly delightful!!
Lovely cottage with everything you need for a short break. Fantastic location in a great village - a very short walk to the beach and two great pubs so perfect for us! Had a minor issue with the electrics but Ian the owner was immediately available (by phone) to get it sorted so thank you to Ian for that! Would highly recommend.
The location of this property is ideal for eating and drinking in Beadnell. It is also a perfect base for exploring the Northumberland coast. The property is very neat and the perfect size for two people, nice and snug too.
Thank you for a lovely week in Beadnell Bay. The property had everything we needed. There was slight confusion finding the property as, although the directions were accurate, there was a different name at the entrance and no number. However this was quickly rectified on speaking to the owner.
Lovely location, clean and tidy property.
Great location, lovely private garden. All necessary equipment.Nice village with places to eat. Near to the beach.
Bait is great for a snack. Easy to travel to Seahouses, Bamburgh, Alnmouth and Alnwick. A good base for English Heritage visits.
Good experience, good location . Bed comfortable but elderly may find it low. Ian and Sue were at the end of the phone if there were any problems but none arose. Thank you for letting us use the property.
The cottage is perfectly sited for access to the coast, village and surrounding area. We had some lovely walks straight from the cottage. The facilities were generally good and as described. We did have some electrical/ fuse issues but these were very quickly resolved. It may be useful to put a bit more info out with the joining instructions for e.g. how the tv or heating system works . I appreciate info can’t be left in the house any more.
We loved this cosy flat which is a spacious studio with lots of character. It has a large bathroom with a lovely big bath and a large very well equipped kitchen. The bed was easy to fold out and very comfortable. The location is great - a short walk to a lovely sandy beach and near to a great pub, hotel restaurant and cafe. Beadnell is a good place for exploring the Northumberland coast. The owners are very lovely, welcoming and helpful. We had a wonderful time.
