Explore on foot or by bicycle, with an excellent network of footpaths and trails close by. Be sure to bring your walking boots - you have the coastal path on the doorstep, where you can explore 84 miles of magnificent coastline. Visit the famous lighthouse at Happisburgh, see the colony of grey seals with their pups at Horsey Gap. Explore the Norfolk Broads, hire a day boat or enjoy a river trip, while marvelling at the wealth of wildlife that can be spotted here. With plenty of waterside restaurants and cafes to enjoy, you can simply sit back and watch the boats sail by.
Keen gardeners will enjoy East Ruston Old Vicarage with its 32 acres of outstanding gardens. National Trust properties including Felbrigg and Blickling Halls are close by, while the city of Norwich offers excellent shopping, cathedral, castle museum, theatre, market square, fine dining and plenty of bars, restaurants and cafés.
