Villa Margarita is a beautiful & spacious luxury villa. It consists of 3 double bedrooms, new fully fitted and well equipped kitchen. 2 bathrooms (1 en suite) and a light spacious lounge. Outside there is a large private infinity pool, a separate dining area with stunning views, plenty of free parking, a beautiful garden and a lovely bbq area, and numerous olive trees (from which we produce our own extra virgin olive oil). Set in Sivota on the island of Lefkada, with views over the bay and the islands of the Ionian Sea. The harbour is a short walk away with lovely restaurants, bars, shops and boat hire.

The House is fabulous, it is set in an amazing position with wonderful views. The pool is a great size. Contact with the host was quick and details for the villa were good. If I had one thing I would change it would be a little more light around the bbq area for eating. We had a fantastic holiday and would happily return.

Perfect family holiday villa. We wanted for nothing, every eventuality had been considered. Right down to the supply of both Bath and pool towels. The pool also was amazing, always cool always fantastic views. The communications were also excellent with both the owners and the villa hosts, who were also very helpful. Sivota also has lots to offer.However, for vilal Margarita a car is essential. We plan to return one day!

Lovely villa in great location

The villa was beautifully furnished and attention to detail very impressive. The pool was a good size to swim in and the pool terrace was very well laid out with good sunbeds and umbrellas with lovely flowers and shrubs around it. The balcony area outside the kitchen had great sofas and chairs and was excellent for breakfasts and evening drinks etc with amazing views … and the roof fan was a great idea (and in the bedrooms too alongside the a/c).The owners were very helpful and Villa Margarita exceeded our expectations. Sivota is also a little gem of a place with nice tavernas and shops. Strongly recommended! We’ll be back!

We had a happy 2 weeks and would certainly recommend. It is better suited to 4 people not 6. The top bedroom did not have a good/comfortable bed for adults. The only other frustration was the entrance drive to the villa. We had to park at the bottom of the hill to avoid damaging the car. The pluses were many. Very well equipped Villa. Good a/c in bedrooms. Nice pool area and loungers. Super views of the harbour and sea. These are the important bits. Walkable into Sivota. Thank you Villa Margarita.

Amazing views

Clean, comfortable villa with lovely outside space. Beautiful views over harbour. Close proximity to restaurants and bars without being on top of them, a 15 minute walk away. Enjoyed the pool area.

Family holiday

Lovely villa with stunning views from the balcony pool area was great with lots of natural shade. You can walk to sivota in 15 mins up hill on way back so be prepared to get hot in the day.

Stunning location

We had a fabulous week at villa Margarita .. Property set in a beautiful location overlooking Sivota harbour . Property very tastefully decorated extremely well equipped . Check in very easy .. Numerous places to eat by the water .. lively fun atmosphere delicious fish seafood etc . It has to be appreciated that water supply is limited so has to be managed carefully . Thank you Fareda , Anthony and Marino .

Lovely villa overlooking Sivota

Lovely spacious villa, across 3 floors with plenty of outdoor options; large covered balcony, bbq area with seating and lots of room around the pool. Beds comfortable, great air conditioning. Modern main bathroom serving 2 bedrooms and en-suite to 3rd bedroom. Great pool with lovely views down to Sivota which can easily be reached in 15 min by foot. Large kitchen, very well equipped with plenty of crockery etc and washing machine. Also lots of reading books plus travel guides for the island and some games. Great communication with hosts prior to stay and with housekeepers whilst there. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Great Villa and Location

Villa Margarita is situated in a beautiful location in Lefkada. Sivota is a gorgeous village and very popular with sailing boats who use it as a destination for overnight stops and use the great Taverna’s. It also has a fantastic bakery for morning pastries and lunch snacks. The Villa itself is well equipped and you can see that the owners use it as well as it feels like a home from home. The views from the Villa are amazing and the pool was great for the family to use. We had a couple of issues that needed sorting during our stay and the owners were in contact straight away and a local handyman sorted both very quickly. The Villa is also in a good location to access various beeches and 15 mins max from Visiliki beech if you enjoy windsurfing. We also used a local bike company (Get Active Lefkas) and did some cycling into the mountains and over to the lighthouse past Visiliki which was challenging and a great way to see more of the island. Overall a top location and Villa which we would recommend. Thank you.

Wonderful restful time at Villa Margarita

Of all the villages on the island we visited we definately struck lucky with Sivota. The view over the village from the villa was outstanding. The villa was well equiped and positioned. We drove down to the village most evenings for dinner but you could walk down in about 15 mins or so. It was extremely hot when we were there with tempratures in the high 30s some days so the pool was a great cool down treat. As it was so hot we found the living area would have really benefited from airconditioning which worked really well in the bedrooms . I think if the weather wasn't so extreme the fans would have been fine. Beds were firm but comfortable and setting the a/c in the bedrooms to 20 gave us a good night's sleep. It was just too hot to BBQ which was a shame as it looks like a great built in BBQ. The property managers were super answering questions by text message and attending to the pool and towels during the week. There were towels provided for use around the pool but if you want take towels to the beach you should bring a some with you. In the village we found it pretty easy to rent a motor launch for the day and this was certainly the highlight of our trip. Great villa, great view and great communications.

Why they chose this property

We visited Sivota, Lefkada for the first time a couple of years ago after it was recommended by a friend. We fell in love with the place so much that we bought this villa while we were there.

What makes this property unique

Sivota is a beautiful, unspoilt and charming island. It has still retained its Greek charm and appeal. Huge white rocks form an intense landscape, there are lush green valleys, and stunning beaches . There are lots to see and do, the harbour (which is a short walk away is full of lovely restaurants, bars, shops and a couple of supermarkets. You can also hire a small boat to explore the surrounding islands. Lefkada town is approx 45 minutes away. Nidri, which is a buzzing area is approx 20 mins away. Vasiliki, which is a windsurfers paradise is 15 minutes away.
