Most sought area in Venice, very central, only 3 minutes walking from San Marco Square and all around the rich stores, theaters, restaurants and nightlife, Rialto with the famous market and Accademia bridge with the best museums and galleries. La Loggia del Doge is situated in the San Marco's quarter, the smallest quarter but the precious one. The apartment belongs to a beautiful ancient building of Venice. Venetian palace in Gothic style, a magnificent 18th century building. Luxurious apartment, very sunny and bright overlooking to the square downstairs. The apartment has two beautiful terraces, a beautiful hardwood floors and oriental rugs. The rooms have been luxuriously furnished with antiques and hung with fine oil paintings. It was thought, according to a historical note, that the Doge used to stay in that house with his lover.

Close to all main attractions and very clean and enjoyable unit. Has 2 outdoor balconies to enjoy fresh air and a beverage. Coffee shops and eateries all within walking distance.
This apartment is charming and sit in a great location. Very close to Rialto Bridge and St. Mark's Square, great restaurants. Take a water taxi from the train station. Water bus takes too long, paying the extra for a taxi is worth the money!
Lovely apartment! Our greeter was very helpful and took me out for a drink before leaving us.
Not one, but two terraces. Tiny but effective elevator. I highly recommend this VRBO.

Just Wow! This home was so perfect in every way! Our host was so accommodating and thought of everything we needed. The location was outstanding and we barely needed to use the vapparettos (water taxis). We loved the balconies to sit and enjoy our morning caffe or evening wine. Would love to come to this apartment again!

This is not a sterile flat that has been renovated just for tourists and has no ‘soul’ of its own. No, you are moving into a flat that was inhabited by Venetians just like this until a few years ago. It's like being ‘beamed’ into another time and another world. The central location is great – there are probably parts of Venice where fewer tourists go, but is the infrastructure there also as good, the nearby vaporetto station, the good bakery around the corner, the nearby large Despar supermarket and much more?Thank you also for the good and friendly service provided by Veronica and Michele! Perhaps a small request to the hosts: The cupboards, chests of drawers and shelves are overflowing with with bed linen and towels, small knick-knacks, vases, etc. from the previous residents. Perhaps you could do without some of these things so that there are more options for storing clothes or simply placing other items on free surfaces?
We had a lovely stay (5 nights) in a great location, between Rialto and S. Marco, just a few minutes walk to either.(During the high season might be a bit loud, but it was great for us.) It's a cozy apartment with almost everything that you'd need. We loved looking over the small piazza below as it changed throughout the day.

Danke Veronica
