This fantastic and bright one-bedroom flat is ideal for a couple or family holiday, as it can accommodate up to 4 people.

It is located in the central district of Chueca, close to Plaza de Cibeles, one of the most central areas of the capital. Strolling through its streets, shopping in Fuencarral street, visiting its markets or eating in one of its restaurants is a complementary plan for any itinerary through the city. It is one of the most alternative places in Madrid and is home to a concentration of cafés, bars, galleries and shops where design and originality predominate. Nearby you will find the San Antón Market, the Museum of Romanticism, the Museum of the History of Madrid and several theatres. You will be able to move easily to other main areas of Madrid, as it is well connected to the transport network.

Despite the apartment saying we had air conditioning it was not working and we were really hot. The futon is not very comfortable.

Disliked: Room comfort

Late change of property leaves a sour taste.

I would love to review this property but can't because the providers (Alterhome) changed the property at the last minute and only informed us two days prior to arrival that we were not getting the property that we booked. So instead of a one bedroom apartment with patio and communal pool, we got a one bedroom apartment with no common area access and a weird loft bed arrangement that was seriously uncomfortable. And, the property was directly above a bar, which had I known about I would not have booked as the noise was horrendous. Also, incessant stream of WhatsApp messages for days before arrival regarding payment, collection of keys etc. I would not book a property let by the Alterhome agency again.
