About this property

Medieval Tuscan farmhouse with wonderful views

On top of the Tuscan hills lies this beautiful 17th century farmhouse, with wonderful views of the surrounding nature and villages. The house is restored with lots of love and taste and surrounded by olive trees. Ideal for guests with high expectations.

The interior decor is cozy, functional and invites you to relax and enjoy the serenity of the surroundings. The ground floor comes with a large dining hall, the dining table with up to 20 seats and a beautiful fireplace. The kitchen, modern and elegant design, is convenient and well-equipped with everything you need. On this floor you also find two bedrooms and the splendid terrace where you can enjoy your morning coffee or relax with friends and family.

The upper floor comes with a large living room, equipped with boardgames. This floor has two additional bedrooms.

There are two full bathrooms, as well as a laundry room at your disposal. One of the bathrooms is connected to the garden, which is convenient for summer days when lots of time is spent outside.

The house is located close to all the main Tuscan landmarks, leaving you free to easily explore all the richness Tuscany has to offer. This area is in between Lucca and Florence, just a few km from the village of Castelvecchio, one of the 10 medieval villages on these hills. This house is surrounded by several hiking trails that lead to the villages, but you can reach them also by car. The nearest town of Pescia, with its monuments and the beautiful 17th century cathedral. Montecatini Terme, only 10 km away, is one of the famous Italian spa towns.

The house offers enough space for up to 8 people and is surrounded by a very nice olive tree garden were you also find wineranks, fig trees and lots of other pleasantries. The south facing 'cotto' tiled roofed terrace offers beautiful sunsets and is a great spot for alfresco dining.

Sun loungers, outside tables with benches and a barbecue are also at your disposal. Outside you also find the wood fired owen area to make your own pizza.

Na een lange autorit kwamen we aan bij het huisje. We werden netjes en vriendelijk ontvangen. Helaas bleken niet alle voorzieningen te kloppen met de advertentie. Na een e.e.a. over en weer te hebben besproken, kwam de eigenaresse met een prachtige oplossing. We hebben vervolgens een super vakantie gehad en enorm genoten van het mooie Toscane.
