We had an amazing stay! The property was beautiful, spotless, and incredibly comfortable. Tom was a fantastic host communication was seamless, and check-in was a breeze. The pool area was a great highlight and perfect for relaxing. Everything was well-maintained and met all our expectations. Highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a great getaway!

The place was clean and well maintained. We absolutely loved being in the pool every day. The entire back patio area was well thought out and was a popular spot for our family to hang out. We really enjoyed our stay at this house!

My family have been traveling to Venice, Fl every summer for the last 6 years to visit family. We always get a VRBO. This was one of the best properties that we have stayed in Venice. It has been nicely updated, clean, the air conditioning is very comfortable and the pool is great. We will stay here again if it is available on our trip to Venice next year.

The home was in a good location as a launching point to Sarasota and local Venice beaches. The area around the home is definitely OLD. Venice. Very “blue collar” and run down. The house was okay. We’ve stayed in a lot nicer for the money. The home looks well in pictures but when you get there it seems like a flip of a house using the cheapest labor and materials. The beds were poor. That’s the first advice I would give to the owner. People are on vacation and looking fur good sleep. I would invest in quality mattresses and quality sheets. Owner provided water which was nice and the kitchen was nicely stocked. Would’ve been nice to have control over the pool. Turning it in and off, and controlling the heat. We did have a couple palmetto bugs that we needed to tend to. Trapped them under bowls and left them there. The back door handle was broken when we arrived. Owner noted it and apologized and offered to come fix it.

We appreciate your comments regarding the mattresses and will be replacing them to improve our guests’ comfort. We also apologize for the palmetto bugs you encountered. We have regular pest control service and do our best to keep the home pest-free, although Florida’s climate can occasionally make these encounters difficult to avoid completely. We’re also sorry for the inconvenience caused by the broken back door handle and appreciate your understanding. Your feedback helps us continue to improve our guests’ experience.

We had a great time in Venice and this house was in the perfect location. The pool was amazing and the ping pong table in the garage was a lot of fun! Would definitely stay again.

The pool was perfect. The addition of a solar cover kept water warm as we had several cool days at first.Our host stopped in and made sure all was good. Since it was our third time at Lemon Tree House, it was great to see the arrival amenities still being provided -- wine, chocolates, music playing and water stocked frig.Had an enjoyable, relaxing 10 days.

Our family of 5 had a wonderful 11 day stay. Close to several beaches and shopping, in a quiet neighborhood, the home was clean and well-stocked. The pool is warm and a nice size, with nice night lighting, and the outdoor seating/grill/dining area is very comfortable. The ping pong table in the garage was a plus. Tom is very responsive to any concern. We would stay here again.

Exceptional Stay

Great location - close to beaches, Town of Venice and restaurants. Pool was so relaxing, as was the outdoor spaces. Communication with Tom was exceptional. We're excited to visit again soon.
