La Ginestra - Terrace

Charming apartment with independent entrance on the second and last floor, obtained from the attic of an ancient stone house in the small (about 200 inhabitants) medieval village of Orciatico. The village is located in the Volterra hills, in the middle of a territory that includes the main art cities of Tuscany (Volterra 17 km; San Gimignano 34 km; Pisa 54 km; Lucca 65 km; Siena 73 km; Florence 83 km) and it is not far from the sea (Cecina 45 km). It is surrounded by vast forests and can be a starting point for pleasant excursions in the uncontaminated nature, dotted with vestiges of the past. In the village there is a grocery store and a bar. All shops and restaurants are in Lajatico (7 km) and larger supermarkets are 10 minutes away by car. The apartment, renovated in 2000, respects the original structures (terracotta floors, ceilings with wooden beams) and is comfortably furnished in a rustic style. It includes two double bedrooms, two single bedrooms, two living rooms, a kitchen, a dining room, two bathrooms, two fireplaces and a large terrace (20 square meters) from which you can enjoy a spectacular view. Parking at about 30 m. Satellite TV and WIFI.

Great escape!

We had problem with our eSimm card, so communications with host was interrupted, but she was very accommodating to get us access to the house. Very quiet and secluded village with amazing views. And nearby towns with good restaurants and stores.

Die Wohnung entspricht der Beschreibung. Die Gastgeberin war sehr nett. Der einzige Nachteil war die mangelnde Sauberkeit: Spinnweben, Brösel und Staub auf den Ablageflächen.

Atemberaubender Blick

Die Wohnung ist sehr hübsch+sauber. Kontaktaufnahme mit Vermieterin problemlos+schnell, äußerst nett+hilfsbereit. Die Schlafzimmer sind alle mit Fliegengittern und Lüftern ausgestattet. Im Hochsommer wird es sehr warm, Klimaanlage gibt es keine.
