About this property

Beautiful and clean 1-bedroom vacation condo in South Kihei Maui. Kihei Kai Nani complex is directly across the street from Kamaole Beach 2. Our unit is located in Building 8. Walk to restaurants, shopping and beach fun activities. Sleeps 2-4; Cal King bed and Queen sofa bed plus 2 comfy recliner chairs. In-suite washer/dryer; air conditioner. Free parking, new 50” cable TV and Wi-Fi internet and Tommy Bahama beach chairs with storage and cooler at the back. Free calls to Canada and within the US.

Awaiting you are golden sands, lush tropical gardens, biking and hiking trails, Luaus, romantic sunsets, waterfalls, variety of birds, snorkeling right off the beach with colorful fishes and even turtles! You may even spot humpback whales with their calves during whale season.

Shopping, golfing, groceries, restaurants all nearby or within walking distance. On site we have a clean 30 x 60 pool, admin office, security and a covered gazebo for entertaining and shuffleboard.

Our deluxe ground floor unit #162 has beautiful garden views and even a glimpse of Haleakala. You will instantly feel at home as you enter the unit.

Hallway : Reception table for your convenience, a glass computer center, in-suite Washer & Dryer; digital safe for your valuables.

Bedroom : California-King bed with memory foam mattress topper, beautiful linens, bedside table with reading lamps, tropical ceiling fan with remote, 32” TV and bamboo dresser, double closets, and tower floor fan.

Bathroom : Renovated tile floors and walk in shower, linens, large vanity with granite counter tops and storage, hair dryers, curling iron, lotions and even a first aid kit. Bath and beach towels are provided.

Kitchen : Well stocked with refrigerator with ice maker, microwave, stove, dishwasher, counter top appliances, rice cooker, blender, coffee maker, dishes, cutlery, glassware, cookware and even spices for your cooking pleasure.

Living and Dining room : New 50” TV; wireless Bluetooth speaker, Air Conditioner, which although located in the living room, extends cool comfort to the bedroom; 4-seater dining table and 2 recliners to sit back and relax with a good book or a glass of wine; pull out Queen Sofa bed with memory foam mattress topper. Entertainment unit has DVDs, Music CDs, playing cards, dice and board games, binoculars, Road to Hana CDs and guide books of Maui.

Lanai: Tiled lanai, pull-down blinds and storage cabinet with boogie boards, coolers, beach chairs, mats and umbrellas, beach toys for the kids and the young at heart. We also added Tommy Bahama beach chairs with storage and cooler at the back so you can relax all day at the beach in style.

Great weekend stay

Great location for beach access and lots of nearby restaurants, cafes, etc. Check in was very smooth with very clear instructions. Unit size great for 2 people.

Good choice for your stay

An overall good choice for your family stay! Kids loved being close to the beach then going to the pool. Has all the things you need for your stay, appliances, including beach toys, snorkel, boogie board etc. Air mattress was very comfortable, and bed firm. Reason I gave 4/5: - Air Conditioner is only in the living area so it gets hot in the bedroom. I tried leaving window open but then roosters around property woke me up at 3.30am. I feel listing can be clearer about location of AC. Also, very few listings have AC in every room, so I should have confirmed. - The wifi was terrible. Frequent disconnection, slow speed. I even got errors like "access point full, too many devices" just from 1 phone and 1 tablet. In their house manual they say wifi is provided by the kihei kai nani management and is not their responsibility. I feel they should provide their own wifi.

Wedding in paradise for my dad

My ohana and i came to maui from hawaii island or the Big Island as most people call it for my dads wedding. I lived here on maui for some time as a young child with my dad and miss just being able to just walk and or drive a short distance to the beach. I really liked our condo experience here at kihei kai nani and working with Mr. & Mrs Lau. I would highly recommand this place and unit to others.

Perfect Condo!

Perfect location! It is about 20-25 minutes away from the airport and very close to all other tourist attraction places. It's literally next to a shopping center with convenience store, restaurants, etc... --just a few steps away. Beach is right across the street-- just a few steps away, small waves so it is safe to swim, warm water. The condo unit is in the back of the condo complex, so it is very quiet with no traffic noises. The condo unit is very clean, filled with many utensils, pans, pots, rice cooker, coffee maker, a cutting board, knife, many condiments, a clean stove, a microwave, a fridge/freezer, towels, soap, iron board, many blankets, sheet sets, plenty of pillows, very comfortable and big size bed, queen sofa bed, dining table, coffee table, TV, DVD player, cable service, internet, lots of books, fans in living room & bedroom, 2 deck of playing cards, (4 body boards, umbrella, chairs, 2 bamboo beach mats for beach, buckets, shovels for kids to play with beach sands, AC and a ceiling fan is in the living room and can cool the entire unit but we need to turn on the ceiling fan and the standing fan in the bedroom because it has no AC in the bedroom, the best part is the washer and dryer is in the unit and a lot of HE detergent---very convenience. The condo unit gave us a feeling of a home away from home!

Maui is one of our top vacation destinations. We love the beach and water adventures like snorkeling, scuba diving, swimming, paddle boarding, learning how to surf or simply relaxing and sunbathing. We ourselves have been coming to Maui for many years and enjoyed it so much, we bought our own condo in March 2014! Our last trip has been a blast as we watch tons of humpback whales with their calves (during whale season). We can't wait to go back in the islands again!

Steps from the beach, yet tranquil and away from foot or vehicle traffic so you can be busy in the day and relax at night. Kihei Kai Nani complex is just across the street from the beach!
