We very much enjoyed our stay at #307 Kalama Terrace. The condo is very well furnished, kitchen, beach stuff, etc, plenty of comfortable seating. The property was very quiet during our stay, only a few people other than us frequented the pool. Highly recommend this property. If we find ourselves back in Kihei we will stay here again.

Amenities were as advertised, with no surprises (which is definitely a good thing). Location was even stocked with some reef safe sunscreen (probably from previous guests). We were just a few minutes walk from an ABC store for supplies, the food truck park, and the beach, so A for the location A couple of items needed repairs, but did not bother our stay in any way, and the host will be fixing them for the next stay. The host was highly responsive, with replies within minutes, and an extensive communication plan was laid out with all the stay instructions easy to find in one big email. Only ruffle in our stay was that. We extended our stay for a late checkout/evening flight and we got auto locked out by the system, but within 15minutes we had our door unlocked with a new access code. If you're changing your original stay length, make sure they extend your door code as well!

It was quiet and well maintained. I think it’s the cleanest rental I have ever stayed in - truly! The kitchen had everything we needed, and sure appreciated the beach towels and chairs. It was in a quieter part of town, too. We visited the pool a few times and that was also great. Very happy with our stay!

Great place to stay in Kihei, Maui

The unit is exactly as described on VRBO. The bed in the bedroom and the sofa bed are both very confortable. The place is quiet. We enjoyed having breakfast and dinner on the balcony, surrounded by beautiful trees and flowers. The pool (nice and clean) is great to cool off after a day at the beach. There is a lot of beach gear (chairs, sun umbrella, cooler,…) that we found very useful. The location is perfect. Many beaches and snorkeling spots to explore all the way to the end of the south shore (always a short distance by car). The beaches and snorkeling spots all the way to the north shore do take 45-60 minutes to reach, but it is worth it !! The north is beautiful!! And time goes fast when you are looking at the beautiful scenery. We didn’t have any problem communicating with Vacation-Maui by mail or phone. They are always very friendly and if they don’t have an answer to a question right away, they do come back with an answer as quick as possible.We did appreciate our stay at Kalama Terrace very much.

Great central location

The spot was exactly what we needed for 2 people renting a car looking to explore the island. We were there during a storm and had no issues with runoff near the place. The balcony overlooking the pool is perfect for a morning coffee. It was more spacious than we were expecting to find as first timers in Maui. Lots a good walkable restaurants, shops and beaches near by but would still recommend renting a car to explore the island.

Great, clean, quiet condo with AC and nice pool. Awesome location walkable to Charley Young beach off the road and near food truck oasis and restaurants. Loved it and so did our 16 year old:) Near cute local shops too. We walked everywhere but also drove over to Waimea and Makena beaches which are a few miles away.

Many places within walking distance. Pool and laundry were readily accessible, laundromat was super reasonable ($1.5 for wash and $1 dry for 45 minutes). Pool is very clean and has very little traffic. Place is very comfortable with a bed and sofa bed and plenty of pillows. 100% recommend for a group of friends or family

All in all, we had a great stay! Regarding the cleaning: we think it was dusty when we arrived due to the nature of the environment (the breeze constantly bringing in dust from outside?), but also there were "dust bunnies" under furniture and in corners. When we asked for cleaning supplies they were provided very quickly by the host. We stayed for a month, so we had to do our own cleaning (or pay extra to have a cleaning service). Location is ideal. The unit is quiet and quite comfortable. We would stay again.

We were quite happy with our stay except for how the laundry facility was set up. The laundry is not coin operated but attached to an app.. That's great except after one free load you are asked to fund your account which costs $25 ! So as we needed 2 loads we ended up paying $25 for 2 loads of laundry !!! I could have gone to the dry cleaner's for that ! Something needs to be changed here.

We really enjoyed our stay, but we booked it knowing that our teens would alternate one on the pullout sofa and one on the sofa cusions on the floor. They absolutely didnt mind and the savings in staying in a smaller place enabled us to do more activities we wanted to do. The condo unit itself was clean and well appointed, and the lanai and pool area were great to have access to. There was a BBQ area as well but we didnt use it. We would absolutely stay here again! Magalo!
