Perfect, super quiet location in an affluent neighborhood with an excellent pub a few steps from the front door. Other restaurants and grocery stores within one block. Excellent hosts and check in/out. Very comfortable beds, good bathrooms and amenities. We will return!

Best location! Walking distance to tube station. Grocery shopping nearby. Lots of museums and sightseeing around this house. Quiet and safe neighborhood.
Definitely will come back next time!
Very nice flat with a great open concept in the kitchen living area. We loved how central it was to everything

We're really grateful for such a lovely first review of our mews house and delighted that Theresa and her family so enjoyed their stay. We look forward to welcoming them back again soon!
Super convient location very close to the tube station, grocery store restaurants and pubs. We did have to wait outside a bit for the property manager to show up to check us in, but it would've been more of a problem had it been raining. Two things that should be noted are the washer dryer and front shower. The shower window shade is rather transparent and it is obvious that with the bathroom lights on, people can see in. As for the washer dryer, we simply could not get it to dry our clothes, and had to resort to the drying rack and fans. Otherwise, a wonderful stay in a delightful mews home.

Convenient location away from all the crowds on a lovely little side street but still only minutes from a tube stop. This was a perfect spot for our family of four to have as a based while exploring London.
Overall, great stay. Property was in a fantastic location and very cute. The kitchen and living area were cozy and well appointed. Note, the set up in the second bedroom is very tight (even for 2 tweens and by European standards) so may be something to consider if traveling as a family or group larger than 3.
We really enjoyed our stay at this stylish and well located property. The neighborhood is wonderful - located next to shops, restaurants and the subway. The house is bright and clean. Although cafes and restaurants are around the corner, the house was very quiet - we didn't hear any traffic noise. The property manager was very responsive and nice. Thank you to Bob and the team!

The Mews house, as advertised, had everything we needed. We enjoyed the location close to the tube station and a short walk to Hyde Park. The open main floor worked really well for hanging out and cooking up a storm. Also it was great to have a front door to the mews street.
I would recommend this mews house for couples and small families. It is simply furnished, in a great location with easy access to tube, restaurants, shops, etc.
Our family of 4 stayed here during our spring break. The property is located in a great location, we especially loved how walkable the neighborhood is to the restaurants, pubs & museums. The property is also a very short walk to grocery store and tube station, which made it quite easy for us to pick up eggs & bacon before starting off on our daily adventures.
Loved staying here with my husband and 14 year old son. It was very cosy and had everything we needed. Location walkable to many London sites and attractions, and very close to the tube for those farther afield. Loved the beautiful plantings in the Mews too - really added to the charm!
This was a wonderful location on a quiet Mews but around the corner from many restaurants, coffee shops, Tesco Express & a block and a half from the Gloucester Underground Station, which made getting around London very easy. Got a nice welcome and tour of the mews house upon arrival. Very comfortable, clean & had everything we needed. The stairs are a bit narrow but easy enough to navigate, so keep that in mind if you have trouble with stairs. We were out most of the day every day but be aware the neighbor has multiple dogs who can be rather vocal at times but did not impede sleep. Be that as it may, we would not hesitate to stay at this lovely location again. A less transparent shade in the front shower would be nice. Thank you so much for making this property available!!!

Very nice place but stairs steep. All appliances - comfortable lounge. Hereford Arms Hotel just around the corner. Book in advance for meals. Check in easy.
This place is fabulous. Lovely location down a cute quiet lane. Tastefully decorated. Adorable. A favorite of my son and mine

We're so grateful for such a lovely review - it's really appreicated by the whole team. It was a real pleasure to host Leah and her son. We look forward to welcoming them again soon.
Really nice place conveniently located. Well managed and well maintained. Check in and out was super easy.
Only areas to mention is the place needs more fans when London is having a hot spell as the bedrooms can be quite stuffy. Also a better equipped kitchen with more utensils would have been good.
The location is absolutely superb. Its nearby underground stop will get you all over London really fast. The street itself is straight out of a painting, and very quiet for when you’re done for the day. Lots of restaurants, groceries, and even fast food nearby.
Property management was very good and communicative. This place is a real gem!
Very charming mews in a lovely part of town and around a corner from a tube station. However, walls and furniture were a bit banged up and the second bathroom had no privacy with a blind that you could see through at night, giving the neighbors a great show! You can hang a towel over it with some difficulty, but who thought this was a good idea?!?!!!

Dear Leos,
Thank you for your thoughtful review. We're delighted you enjoyed the charm and location of the mews. We do regret to hear about the concerns regarding the condition of some furnishings and the lack of privacy in the second bathroom. Your comments are much appreciated and will be shared with the team to help us improve the guest experience.
We hope to welcome you back in the future under even better conditions.
Best regards,
Robert
My husband and I visited London in Jan (brrr) on our way to Spain. Loved this rental and the location was ideal for the chilly weather. Super close to great pubs as well as the tube so we could get around easily. One very minor suggestion for the owners…since hair dryers are not allowed in the bathrooms, adding a standing or wall mirror in the bedrooms would be so helpful when getting ready. Other than that, everything was perfect!!
What an amazing stay- 6 nights in a beautiful house, fantastic kitchen, great light, amazing location.
If I could afford it I would buy the house and the team taking care of the place! Instead I will be satisfied by the week we lived like royalty.
Our family of 3 (2 adults & 1 teenager) enjoyed our second stay at the Stanhope Mews house. Close to the tube, coffee shops & several grocery stores, the location can’t be beat. We loved being able to relax in a cozy home in the evenings & cook dinner in the well appointed kitchen, occasionally. The house is well laid out with two en-suite bedrooms & a comfortable living space. We enjoyed walking to the museums of South Kensington & exploring the city. We can’t wait to book our third stay!
I stayed in this Mews house with my daughter and her wife. It was steps to the Gloucester station, steps to Waitrose and Tesco, and surrounded by places to eat. The house had two bedrooms/2 bathrooms, and a functional kitchen. It was perfect. South Kensington is the PERFECT place to stay and see London. I would highly, highly recommend this place to stay.

My whole life has been built around travel, so it's a real pleasure to be able to share some of those opportunities with you. I have had a long career in hotels and serviced apartments in the UK but now I just enjoy what I have always loved: travel. Favourite destinations include Koh Samui, Thailand; Palawan, Philippines; Luang Prabang, Laos; Dambulla, Sri Lanka and many, many more. My favourite food choices pretty much reflect where I love to go. As I am not always in London, I have some friends from the industry who look after my guests and my properties for me. Coming from the hospitality industry, quality of service is very, very important - especially with my luxury apartments - so we will take excellent care of you from the moment you first come into contact with us to the moment you leave London.
Why they chose this property
"when a man is tired of London, he is tired of life; for there is in London all that life can afford" Despite my love of travel, I also love returning to London. There is no better place to enjoy all of the excitement and opportunities of this great city than South Kensington, which also retains much of the elegance and exclusive feel it had when first developed 250 years ago.
