NEW 2021, Idyllic Cottage in Polkerris, by the beach, sea views, near Fowey.

Only a few minutes walk from a safe delightful beach in the old fishing village of Polkerris.
Character detached cottage with large secluded south facing garden, sheltered patio with Hot Tub over looking the sea.
Off road parking. and large shed for storage of surf boards etc.
The cottage is full of charm and character with lots of original features.
The modern well equipped fitted kitchen has a large rustic table which comfortably seats 8 and leads into the lounge with sofas and wood burning stove .
The front stable doors open up onto the large south facing Sun Lounge, over looking the sea and opens out onto the patio with teak garden furniture, BBQ and Hot Tub, the perfect setting to enjoy summers evenings.
We have one ground floor Bedroom plus shower/toilet and utility room. Upstairs our front two spacious king and twin bedrooms enjoy fantastic views out to sea. one small twin room with which children love! The family bathroom has a bath with shower.

The property is a dream, all mod cons in a glorious setting.

This is a beautiful property that retains its character whilst providing great modern facilities. I could go on about the location but that takes care of itself.

If only we could buy this and live here forever. Wonderful property. Some work needed on the leaky roof but didn't impact on the holiday at all. Hot tub was a dream. Thank you so much.

Cornish cottage in a lovely setting

The cottage is very well placed for a beach holiday, it’s a 2min stroll down a pretty lane to the beach. It has a hot tub and views to the sea which is lovely, a lovely pub & restaurant also by the beach, it’s on the coast path too. The cottage itself could do with some general up keep, the downstairs shower room has no door or curtain, so the floor continually gets flooded whenever you shower. There is plaster flaking off walls upstairs. The kitchen is small but well equipped & clean. The garden is pretty, we used some mint from garden for our new potatoes! The house has a lovely sun room, the beds were comfy, there’s also parking for 3 vehicles We really enjoyed our break and the owner kindly offered earlier checkin which was nice even though we didn’t need it. Thank you

We live close to Polkerris and Fowey, at Trenant Mill, a 16th Century Mill conversion set in 30 acres of Vineyards and Orchards which has on site the 'Cider Barn', a luxurious 8 bed (sleeps 16) self catering complex with Indoor Pool and Hot Tub, also on VRBO, rated exceptional with numerous 5* reviews.

For the first time there is now a Luxury Holiday Cottage available in Polkerris, with stunning views over the Bay and a short private pathway to the Beach. Set in large private ,sheltered, gardens with South facing large patio area the double fronted cottage is equipped to the highest standards, with sea views from all principal rooms. There is private parking for several vehicles and outdoor shed storage for all beach/water sports equipment

What makes this property unique

Generations of family's have visited Polkerris Beach, widely regarded as the safest, most picturesque in the County, with it's Watersport's centre, great Pub and Restaurant right on the beach. Polkerris is on the south Cornwall Coastal path with links to the Saints way and many glorious local walks.
If you want to explore future afield the delightful coastal towns of Fowey and Charlestown, where Poldark was filmed.
