Paradise On Hobbs Pond ! Cottage on lake front! Only 8 minutes to Camden !

Thank you Dave so much, for a thoughtful and thorough review. I was surprised and saddened by the false claims of one reviewer ,that did not even stay at the cottage. I have received all 5 star ratings for the past 4 years except for one, 4 star rating. The week before this stay, my guests left a 5 star review. This renter's review is not factual, but fabricated scenarios, that just did not happen. This person imagined people looking in windows and entering my cottage . No one would ever do so. They never stayed at my cottage. She admits this .This person abandoned my cottage for 4 days with the doors unlocked, curtains open and the lights on all day and night long. This is a lake house. If lights are left on all night it can be seen miles away. My neighbor contacted me 3 days after my guests were to arrive, saying all the lights were on and it appeared my renters did not show up. I texted the renters asking if they arrived and were ok. No response. On the 4th day I texted/phoned again. No response. Worried, I went to check on the cottage and received a text that said they were not staying there as "it didn’t fit their needs.” Shocked and surprised, I said I was sorry to hear that and was there anything I could have done to improve their stay. She replied, with false facts. The internet is not slow, but fast and excellent. The TV she “felt would not be good for evening movies “ Is a Roku with Netflix and Amazon prime subscriptions. The mattresses / bedding are great. They did not sleep there. Finally, the locks work, as it’s important to all guests. Renter became angry, when I contradicted her unsubstantiated findings .
