This beautiful two-story home is located in the heart of the Finger Lakes. It is situated on the eastern hillside of beautiful Keuka Lake, approximately halfway between Hammondsport and Penn Yan. It has an open floor plan and an extra-large deck, including hot tub and a gas fire pit to enjoy in the evenings. It is situated on 38 acres and is within 1-2 miles of public boat launches (Keuka, Waneta, and Lamoka Lakes). It is close to wineries, distilleries, breweries, Watkins Glen Speedway, Corning Museum of Glass, Glen Curtis Aviation Museum, hiking trails, restaurants, and more. Additional rooms are available on ground level for added fee. Come and enjoy!

Everything was just as advertised. The house was clean, comfortable, the spaces, indoors and outdoors, where spacious, the kitchen was well equipped, the location was perfect for us to enjoy the finger lakes region. All worked out perfect for us. I would stay back here if back in the area.

House was clean, beautiful and hosts were extremely accommodating. Kitchen was modern and had everything we needed. Plenty of towels, ac was on when we arrived, WiFi access was clearly visible on counter with a welcome sign. This house was a winner, lived up to the pics on website.

Always amazing

This was our second stay here and we loved it just as much as the first time. This is a great location, beautiful house, and there was great communication throughout. There's plenty of room for everyone and it makes for a really relaxing and comfortable vacation.

Long weekend for our annual sisters trip! My nieces and our sister-in-law visited for an overnight as well. The listing is accurate and we absolutely loved the house. Incredibly comfortable and spacious. We made great use of the deck every night with the gas fire table. I enjoyed long walks every day of our stay. There weren’t any hiking trails to access, but the area was so beautiful, I didn’t mind! Our only issue was the well water. It’s been a very dry summer as we all know, and apparently that affects the smell of well water. We were assured it was tested, treated and very safe. But the smell was really rough. Maybe because we don’t live there year-round and we haven’t adapted to it. But it wouldn’t prevent me from staying there again.
Welcoming our nieces. That’s me hiding behind the light shade! Lol, oh well. We had a wonderful time. Highly recommend this home!

Great location. Quiet area. Owner very responsive. Hot tub was nice to come home to. Lots of space to spread out. Would recommend having more than just one Tv for multiple couples to share. Beautiful area near Keuka Lake.

Country paradise by Keuka Lake

Beautiful , spacious home close to Keuka Lake and some wonderful wineries. Serene country setting . We loved watching the deer in the back yard while sipping vino by the outdoor fire pit . Definitely check out the Keg and Barrel just minutes down the road. Very gracious hosts . We would rent again in a heart beat!

Girl's Trip Get-away and Winery Exploration

Property was exactly as advertised. We took advantage of the extensive kitcken accessories. The deck was our relaxation area. Enjoying both the firepit and hot tub. Coffee was greated with an amazing sunrise, we dined outside and had nightime game nights. We all agreed this was a diamond, a true gem. Meg was fabulous and answered all our questions pretrip and during.

Beautiful home, well kept.

Nice property, listing needs to be updated. The beds were not accurate, there was a hot tub not listed and the bath towel supply was very low. No central air, it was humid and raining our trip so very muggy in the home.

To clarify to future renters, there are 3 spacious bedrooms (2 queen and 1 king), that accommodate 6 guests. Should you be looking for additional guest space, there is another suite with bed, bath, living and kitchen on the ground level for a fee. The air conditioners are in the windows of each bedroom and on the main floor. If windows are kept closed, it remains very cool in the home. Additional bath towels will be added. Keuka in the Kountry

Close to all amenities in the Finger Lakes - Keuka, Watkins Glen, dining, wineries, hiking, swimming, boating, etc while being in a quiet country setting with all the convenience of home away from home. Meg and her husband are great hosts - quick to respond and a next day check in to make sure we had what we needed. Large deck has a picnic table, seating around a propane fire pit, grill and 4 person hot tub. We brought extra chairs, a 10 x 10 pop-up for shade and an outdoor tablecloth that made dining outside effortless.

What a beautiful home near Keuka lake! Located on a quiet street about 15 mins outside the quaint town of Hammondsport, 30 mins from Watkins Glen and an hour from Ithaca it provided the tranquility we were looking for while still being able to access the area’s attractions. Note that it will take a bit of driving to get anywhere you want to go, so do plan accordingly.The house itself is modern, spacious and in immaculate condition. There are plenty of air conditioners and we never felt too hot or too cold during the stay. There is plenty of yard space and a well manicured property. The kitchen has everything you would need including an ice maker, toaster, toaster oven, keurig and regular coffee pot. The huge back deck, comfortable patio furniture and hot tub were a nice bonus and got plenty of use from us.The owners are kind, easy to communicate with and very responsive. There aren’t many harsh stipulations or unreasonable requests like you can get sometimes with these rentals. We had a small issue with one of the bedroom door handles and the owner even came out the same day to try and fix it.The only downside of the property is that there is a sulfur-like odor to the water from the high mineral content. It’s not unusable, it just makes it less pleasant. We ended up just drinking bottled water and took fast showers to compensate.

Wonderful time in the middle of the Finger Lakes Area

We booked this property 7 months in advance and it was the opportunity for my wife and I to reconnect with good friends from Canada. Not exactly in the middle, but a nice drive for both of us. Prior to the booking and several times, after I submitted questions to the owner....especially a request for some local recreational and eating spots. Meg was always quite gracious in her answers...timely, thorough and complete and helped us truly enjoy the area. The home was just right for two couples. Separate bedrooms and baths, and a large and beautifully appointed living room and kitchen. Very comfortable surroundings and we did cook in on three or four nights, plus breakfast every day. great kitchen and eating area. Nice view as well. Centrally located for our adventures.....Golf within 20 minutes...plenty of wineries...25 minutes to Watkins Glen to hike and see the waterfalls...not much further to Ithaca...Corning very close and just 15 minutes from Hammondsport; and a little further to Penn Yan. Meg met us upon arrival and was very accommodating to our arrival time. Shared excellent information about groceries and dining spots. Pretty flowers a plus and well enjoyed by the wives. Meg was a wonderful host and was helpful throughout our visit. Thanks for helping us truly enjoy an amazing week full of great scenery and many adventures. Would definitely rent again on a return trip to this area. This is a great area to visit the Finger Lakes....well situated to so many activities.

Elegant Lake House with plenty of space, beautiful furnishings, all amenities and 3 bathrooms!

Our group of 4 ladies shared this rental home for our annual trip and we were glad that we did. The furnishings and house space was perfect for us and the rear deck with fire pit, hot tub and long range views of the lake, which were amazing! having 2 full baths upstairs and another 1/2 bath downstairs was a rare find and most lake houses in the finger lake region lack the beauty of this home! A/C was available and we used the bedroom units in the evenings. We loved the kitchen which had everything we needed and washer with dryer too. There were games and DVD movies with a system that was easy to use. We enjoyed pulling up to this beautiful home at the end of our busy days. We were not troubled with the fact that the bathrooms were a little bit worn or dated. The house was clean and we felt it was a perfect "fancy lake house" experience! This house was carefully chosen after viewing many rentals in the region. Our opinion is that this home had the most value for the upgraded amenities and space. We were not disappointed! We loved the area with an adventure every day to the many small towns, wineries, and parks which were found at the end of our drive along scenic rural roads. Megan greeted us and showed us inside, had lovely fresh flowers inside for us and followed up with a call the next day to make sure all was well. Lastly, the most important benefit of this trip was the company shared and time well spent! We are 4 women who grew up on the same street from toddler until i moved to Florida. With our children now grown it is our reconnection TRIP 3 and we encourage anyone to do the same! We would return to Megan's house without a doubt. Such a great trip!!!

Golf in the Finger Lakes

This is a great house at a reasonable price. Our group has a goal to golf in 50 states. This year we choose the Finger Lakes region of New York. Since golf was our main reason for visiting the area, we didn't need a house right on a lake. This location worked out great for our group and was convenient to all of the activities we had planned. Meg was extremely helpful with suggestions for golf courses, wineries and restaurants. This location was also convenient to Watkins Glen.

Bucolic Finger Lakes Experience

The home is located on a peaceful road and on several acres of property minutes from the lake and less than 20 minutes from Hammondsport, NY. The home is a beautiful, two-story home furnished exquisitely and appointed beautifully. The bedrooms are spacious, one with ensuite washroom. There are three bedrooms and two and one-half baths. The kitchen is large, airy, and fully stocked with kitchen goods, utensils, pots, pans - whatever you could possibly need to enjoy a home-cooked meal. A large deck comes off the kitchen. The living room is well equipped with comfortable furniture and, if you have time to indulge, television and DVD player. Meg was an excellent host and was most accommodating when circumstances forced us to alter travel plans. On arrival, she contacted us to ensure we were situated properly and asked if we required anything from her. A most delightful individual! HIGHLY recommend this property!!

We had a great experience at this property - family with kids 5 and 9. Everything was as advertised, no surprises. The prior reviews were accurate. Meg was super helpful and responsive. Mostly used the house as a base for seeing the lakes and state parks. The deck was really nice for seeing stars on clear nights. We also made s'mores in the fire pit. Took a great bike ride through the country roads in the area one day. Kids enjoyed scrabble and some other games provided in the house.

We currently own a venue with on-site lodging on Chubb Hollow Road in Dundee, NY between Keuka and Seneca Lakes. We enjoy spending time with family and friends. We enjoy hiking, e-biking and traveling. We hope to provide our guests with a vacation they will treasure and remember for years to come!

Why they chose this property

My husband and I had this home built and raised our children in it. We have spent the last 20 years renovating and updating. Our children are grown and now have their own homes. We would like to proudly share our lovely home in the gorgeous finger lakes with others.
