Waterfront home with spectacular views and level pebble beach.

No stairs! Charming new cottage on a level lot with a private drive leading to off highway parking spaces adjacent to the cottage. You can drive to the door for walk-in carry of groceries, luggage etc.

Totally updated in 2012...Hardwood floors throughout, new kitchen countertops, new kitchen floor tile, tiled backspashes, new furniture and drapes, new granite topped bath vanity, tiled fireplace surround, 46”Sony HDTV, and most importantly.... a pergola covered 2 tier deck extension now affording fantastic views both up and down the lake as well as across.

Our cozy 3 bedroom (plus loft) home is modern in every way. In addition to multiple skylights, the cottage features a private loft with 360degree views...a perfect place for relaxing or sleeping 2 people that are capable of climbing a staired ladder accessing the loft with a set of upper and lower bunkbeds

A fine pebble beach (with no breakwall) gently sloping to and under the water affords the opportunity to wade, swim, sun or take an afternoon nap in the hammock. The beach is completely friendly to young and
old alike accessed by a few rock steps down through a garden or seven steps down from the deck.

A 40 foot dock can accommodate either your boat or perhaps a rental...or anyone wishing to fish or sun! Boat whips are available.

The kitchen is roomy with new appliances and features a bar for casual meals or drinks. It overlooks the dining/living area featuring a wood burning fireplace at the end of the “great room”.

The living/dining area overlooks the beach, lake and 'Bluff' as seen through a wall of sliding glass doors, which access the main deck.

The deck is large overlooking the lake complete with picnic table for dining in a perfect setting. An umbrella covering the entire picnic table can be opened in the event a rain shower.

The cottage is 2.5 miles south of Branchport, #16410 West Lake Rd. Branchport (Rte 54A) … 2.5 miles south of the light in Branchport. It iseasily accessible to the nearby Keuka Lake Wine Trail with tours and tastings, many fine restaurants, gift shops, and antique shops. A short drive brings you to either historic Hammondport or the village of Penn Yan.

Wonderful week on Keuka Lake!

Our entire family (with adult children) very much enjoyed our stay. The lakeside location and wonderful deck just cannot be beat! It was everything we were looking for in a finger lakes vacation. Highly recommended.

We had a great time. Host was wonderful.Was a beautiful weekend.My only thing would be, the loft with the bunk beds(which we did not need to use on our visit), but the stairs are very very steep and tight, so could be issue for some adults and/or young children.

Fabulous view, deck and beach

PERFECT GETAWAY

We did not enjoy our stay overall. The house was fine, the house was clean, but we were disappointed that the owner took the time to do yard work, take down and winterize a sailboat, etc. It was not what we were expecting.

Finger Lakes Vacation

Family vacation in the finger lakes

The house is very clean and well organized, we where a family of 6 and it was enough for us all. The property doesn’t have a baby bed so we just put a mattress on the floor. Whine was great and helpful with everything we needed, including recommendations for a rainy day.

Great Week on the Lake!

Wayne's cottage on the lake is simply beautiful. The views of Keuka Lake are incredible! We went here as a family for about a week and had a great time. Wayne met us there and showed us around the property, including how to use the boat and helpful information for the area. The only thing was there was a few cobwebs in the house we had to clean in the corners and windows when we arrived, but other than that, the home was very clean. The place was exactly as the listing describes, with all amenities. My favorite part was the skylights all over the house! Just beautiful! We had a fire every night, and my dad went fishing and rode on the boat everyday! Thanks Wayne!

This is a nicely located property that is very nicely furnished. We had a great week visiting nearby wineries and towns as well taking the time to relax by the lake. Parking situation is great. Wayne is a great host.

Keuka Magic!

Great parking options. No steps from the parking area to the house. Only a few steps off the deck to the lake. Probably our easiest access to house and beach in the five years we have been renting on the lake. Teen boys loved sleeping in the loft area. Homeowner also had extra kayaks and life jackets if we needed them. Wayne was very helpful and responsive to our needs.

Awesome week!

This is a great cottage and the location is central to any area you would like to visit. House was very clean and well maintained. We had 5 adults in the house and would recommend no more that that. Wayne, the owner was super and easy to communicate with. The boat dock was perfect. and there is a great space for fire pit, cornhole etc.

Guys fishing trip

This was our first time staying here for the annual fishing trip. It was just right for 8 of us and we all had our own bed. Plenty of room both inside and outside. Very clean and had everything we needed. Sat outside a lot when not fishing on the relaxing deck overlooking the lake. Good weather and fishing all week. Awesome views up and down the lake! Would stay here again in a heartbeat! Hope to bring the family for a stay!

A Slice of Paradise

Our stay at Wayne's slice of paradise was everything we hoped for and received. Our experience was absolutely one of our best vacations!! We enjoyed Kayaking on the lake and surrounding areas. Great location to experience the wine and brewery trails. Celebrated our 15th anniversary and our son-in-law's birthday. The weather was perfect and we enjoyed the deck for dining, reading and just watching the scenery. Our daughter and her husband stayed in the Love Shack and felt connected to us but still had their own privacy. We will definitely be going back!!!!!! Thanks Wayne for sharing your home with us.

A perfect family get away

We took my mother-in-law and father-in-law on vacation. A total of six adults were on the trip. My in-laws stayed on the love shack. It allowed them to go to bed earlier than the rest of the party. It worked out perfectly. My husband and I loved this property and stayed at it previously. If we go to Keuka Lake, this is the only place I would consider staying. Great vacation on Keuka Lake

Our family had a fantastic vacation on Keuka Lake. The house and outside deck and beach were perfect for the whole family, including our 9 year old twins. They had a great time swimming and kayaking. And the deck was perfect for cooking out, meals and cocktails overlooking the lake. The Branchport location was super convenient also. A perfect getaway!

Keuka Getaway

Great property right on Keuka Lake. A ton of deck space and a great beach front as well. Incredible views looking both North and South. Very easy in terms of check in and check out. The owners were very friendly and quick when it came to communication. We highly recommend and would come back here again!

I purchased raw land and personally designed and built my summer residence, which I now will share with you. Over the years I have made many alterations and additions including added decks and an outbuilding.....now dubbed the "Love Shack", a beautiful place to house added quests at an added cost of $500 per week. A special hideaway with a kitchenette, half bath, and outside heated shower.

Why they chose this property

Initially I boated all of the finger lakes in search of the right lake. Keuka was the answer...the jewel of the fingerlakes.Then I spent 2 years in quest of the right location....a perfect beach with no breakwalls, shade trees for my fair complected children, a West side location to avoid parching afternoon heat from the sun found on the opposite shore, ample parking with a setback from the highway, and most importantly "no stairs" so typically required on this Lake. Then I fulfilled a lifelong dream to build my own home with my own hands!

What makes this property unique

I then designed the height of the cottage to be above water level by 6 feet so as to afford a view of the beachfront to insure a careful watch over toddlers while enjoying the fantastic views, the water traffic, the ducks, etc!
