Guests from Paris stayed here for two weeks during August 2022. Madame said " The property was the perfect size for us, with everything plus that you could possibly want. It is furnished as a normal home would be, and we wanted for nothing ".

Tres Mignon (very cute), fun and funky 2 bedroom, 1 bath, 2 WC house sleeping 4 (1 master, 2 single beds).

WELCOME: We always welcome our guests in person and after a short tour of the property and it's quirks, we leave you to get on with the business of vacationing.

HOT/COLD: Fans supplied in all rooms during summer months. Heating /Pellet Fire/electricity included in nightly rates during winter.

MODERN: Kitchen appliance and conveniences throughout.

PROVIDED: Essential groceries provided (milk, butter, salt, pepper, oil, et al). Shampoo, shower gel, hand soap, Dishwashing liquid, dishwasher tabs, Laundry soap et al.

Café/Restaurant/Bar/Depot de Pain on the corner of town (La Maison du Passeur) where they serve a delicious Formule lunch for approx. 17 euros each, incl. 1/4 of wine (RDV advised). Order your Croissants and baguettes daily.

ACTIVITIES: Superb outdoor activities at your doorstep. Large open spaces beside the river.
Excellent Biking, walking, golf, swimming, fishing, Cognac and Pineau des Charentes tasting...whatever your choice, it is all available here. .

CONVENIENT: 1km from Hwy RN141, taking you to any number of destinations in the Charente and Charente Maritime.
Bike or drive to nearby Jarnac where you can rent kayaks and visit the permanent indoor market or any of the outdoor market days in the town square.

SUPERMARKETS: Jarnac 5kms, Cognac 8kms.

AROUND AND ABOUT: Cafes and restaurants are open 5-7 days for lunch and dinner and the quality is excellent.
Visit Chateau Courvoisier right in the centre of town overlooking the river for a tour and sample their Cognac.
Catch a train from Cognac to La Rochelle, for a day's outing.
Follow Roman roads, art and artifacts.
See where Dinosaurs used to tread and enjoy being in a part of France that so many have yet to discover!
Cognac is just 8kms away and the hills of the Grand Champagne, Premier Cru await you.
Golf de Cognac is a mere 3km drive across the river. Try the restaurant!

CHILDREN: Children under the age of five are not catered for as there is unsecured water (River and Fountain/natural water source) close to this property. Parents much be vigilant. Children must be able to sleep in a normal bed, be toilet trained and sit at the dining table.
No special furniture is provided for children. Parents must bring their own children's toys (for hygiene reasons).

No pets
No smokers
No 3rd party renters.
Renter MUST be a house guest and stay for the entire duration of the booking.
No deep or shallow frying. Oily condensate sticks to everything.
