An upside down house, the bedrooms are on the ground floor and are both cosy with thick carpets and comfortable beds and bedding. Upstairs the open plan living space is bright and airy with floor to ceiling windows and doors. Stylishly furnished, this really is a delightful space to spend time enjoying a few board games, watching some films together or cooking a delicious family meal.
This wonderful mid-terrace property is in the heart of this charming little town. Take a stroll over to the mill at the Fleet Visitor Centre, where you can learn the history of the village, once a thriving industrial town - perhaps difficult to envisage in modern day times. The beautiful Cardoness Castle stands at the entrance to the town and if you climb to the top you can enjoy the most amazing views of the surrounding area.
A short drive along the coast will take you to the beautiful beaches of Cardoness and Mossyard, where you can laze away a few hours or more under the sun. For the thrill seeker a visit to Laggan Outdoor Centre is a must, where you can have a go on one of the longest zip wire rides in the country.
Inland is just as dramatic, with beautiful forests and a number of National Trust Gardens to explore, such as Threave Garden, 20 minutes away. This delightful corner of south west Scotland has something to offer everyone and is not to be missed. Beach 3 miles. Shop 200 yards, pub and restaurant 20 yards.
