This beautiful cottage is absolutely gorgeous within the most stunning location, everything you could need is in this wonderful house and more, very warm, extremely comfortable and just so so peaceful, will definitely be back to this amazing, tranquil, place. The garden is so so relaxing to sit out in and watching the seabirds and the sea as it comes in and goes out.
This is a comfortable modern house, conveniently located at the end of a ery pretty village and with a patio overlooking the harbour. The view changes by the hour as the tide sweeps in and out. Lots of bird life, sandy beaches nearby and lots of places to visit. Fantastic icecream in the village

Great location.
Great location. Modern house right by the harbour. Well equipped and comfortable. Great walks from the door. Good area for bird spotting. Apart from pub and garage that only sells diesel no facilities so you need to travel 5 miles to nearest Coop or 15 miles to Newton Stewart for a supermarket.

Lovely townhouse in an excellent location, with views across the bay towards the distant mountains whilst doing last night's washing up at the kitchen sink! Only amenities are the pub (Harbour Inn) and a local shop, so nearest decent food shop is the Co-op in Wigtown, only a short drive away. Walks from the front door and gardens/castles/museums/galleries to visit in the surrounding area, as well as dramatic scenery on the Mull of Galloway. Cold in November but house more than adequately heated so would recommend at any time of year. All in all a more than average property at a very reasonable price. Wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Lovely cottage, we had a fabulous time there, it was clean, open plan downstairs with decent bedrooms and a lovely view over the harbour. I enjoyed having a morning cup of tea while sat outside watching the birds and boats.

The photos on the website dont do justice to the stunning views from the back and side of the house.
The photos on the website dont do justice to the stunning views from the back and side of the house. The addition of the balcony off the master bedroom was a huge bonus and we spent many hours on the balcony with a coffee or a glass of wine watching the ever changing view dictate s by the tides. We were blessed with good weather and only ate one meal inside during the whole week. A stunning location in which to switch off and relax, which was the aim of this holiday.

The cottage is in a very good location.
The cottage is in a very good location. It is generally well equipped, clean and comfortable. However, we were disappointed that there were no instructions for using the hot water system and we endured cold showers on our first two mornings, until we decided to use the booster system.
We were also disappointed that there was no welcome pack at the cottage, a very unusual occurrence in our experience.
