About this property
~ Central Boulder Gem - Walk to CU/Folsom - 20 acre park out the back gate ~
GreenGate is our mid-century house on a quiet, tree-lined lot in Boulder. It's solar-powered, gets good light, and has been our family home for years. We've tried to keep it comfortable and straightforward — a place where you can settle in quickly and do whatever you came to Boulder to do.
~Living Room
There's a large sectional that gets a lot of use. The room is sunny with big windows, and we have fast Wi-Fi and a TV with YouTube TV, PBS, and Prime Video. Good for a movie night or just hanging out.
~Dining Room & Patio
The dining room is bright and opens onto a screened-in patio through sliding doors. It's a nice spot for morning coffee or an evening outside without the bugs. There are a couple of gravity chairs out there if you want to stretch out. We eat most meals there and spend hours enjoying the backyard.
~Bedrooms
Three bedrooms, each with its own feel:
The primary has a Cal King, an ensuite bath, and a small loft office area that leads to a private deck with a mountain view. The second bedroom has a queen and a calm, quiet atmosphere. The third has a full bed — works well for one person or a younger guest.
Each room has its own AC unit, so you can sleep however you like regardless of what the summer weather is doing.
~Kitchen & Bathrooms
The kitchen is fully updated and well-stocked for cooking actual meals, not just making coffee (though it handles that too).
~Backyard & Park
The backyard is a nice place to slow down — there's a swing and plenty of bird and squirrel activity if that's your thing. The back gate opens directly into a 20-acre park with a playground, splash pad, and an Olympic-size pool. Handy if you have kids, or if you just want a morning swim.
One thing worth mentioning: This is our actual home, and it shows — there are personal touches throughout. We'd just ask that you take care of it the way you would your own place.
City of Boulder license #RHL2017-00279 and only 3 unrelated occupants are allowed to rent the space.
There are two outside Ring security cameras, one at the front door and one near the back door.

Super-clean family -friendly spot with shops nearby, a 20-minute walk to downtown Boulder, and walking paths out the back door. The host responded to inquiries immediately and offered suggestions on things to do. Highly recommended!
It’s a very loved and lived in house, the beds are greatly comfortable. The park is great behind the house, the house was very clean. The host was wonderful communicating.
The house was in a great location- steps from CU campus and a short drive to Pearl St. The house is comfortable and well stocked. One element that will make guests feel more comfortable is to remove family photos and other personal items while guests are staying. It makes guests feel like they are stepping into someone’s house, surrounded by all their personal items. Can be a little awkward at times. We appreciated the warm welcome and clear instructions for how to best use the fear of the house.
Our stay in boulder was wonderful. The house was super cute ,clean and within walking distance to great places to eat. My family and I had a great trip
We had an amazing stay at Eric's beautiful home. It's an easy 10 minute walk to Folsom Field, quiet, with direct access to a park. Everything is beautifully maintained and Eric is an amazing, gracious host to work with for any issues. We would love to stay here again for our next trip to Boulder.

Best place in Boulder!
Everything about this property was perfect. The central location made it easy to get anywhere whether driving, biking or walking. It is a lovely home, with a beautiful backyard on a quiet street. The hosts went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Wonderful stay!
Great location in Boulder! Big yard that backs to a wide open park with a sledding hill for kids. Also Boulder Creek runs right by house and is so pretty. Close to Whole Foods and outdoor mall. Beds and bedding were very comfortable. We enjoyed our time here.
Great home, but we had no internet service for the entire stay.

Indeed. Xcel was doing rare power line work, and the Internet was down for two days.
Appreciate how understanding you were when you told us three times it wasn't an issue, that you were happy to use data.
Come back anytime, be great to have y'all stay again.
This house is super comfy and clean. Everything is how it should be to make a guest feel at home. We also loved how convenient the location was, with direct access to the highway, neighboring creek trial, and proximity to downtown. A perfect choice.
The house was great, as advertised. Clean, updated, nice large peaceful backyard. If you are looking to do anything at CU, downtown Boulder this is an ideal, walkable destination. Short drive to the Flat Irons as well. Highly recommend
I visited my daughter to help her pack up for school. The house is in a perfect location near campus with many restaurants and shops within walking distance. It is literally on the edge of campus. Eric and Shanti were great hosts who were very engaged and responsive. The house has everything you need for a great stay.
This was such a lovely home and perfect for our stay during our CU weekend. Easy walking distance to campus and all of the shopping and restaurants. We loved the warm vibe of this house and quiet little neighborhood. The park just beyond the backyard is really nice if you have kids. The house was clean and everything was as described, with the kitchen being fully stocked and very comfortable beds. Check-in was a breeze, Eric was super communicative and very accommodating for us. We would def book this again!
Out of state parents visiting our son at cu boulder
Perfect location to walk to campus, the hill , and pearl street dining and shopping. Quiet street that’s right at the center of everything cu boulder.
Could not ask for better communication from
Eric and shanti. Can’t wait to come back next year! Sko buffs!
This was the perfect place for our long weekend visiting our older daughter at CU Boulder. Our younger 10yo daughter lover the park with playground just out the back gate. The water park was closed for the season but looks like a lot of fun.
Our younger daughter left a note in their guest comments book, and the owners emailed a very nice reply which our daughter will be thrilled to read after she gets out of school today!
Overall, this place is great. Located short drives from campus, which was why we were there, to stores, Pearl St., and all of Boulder. The snowy cold weather prevented us from outdoor activities, but there is a huge park over the back fence with paths, play areas, and an impromptu sledding hill. The house was clean, beds were comfortable, we stayed warm when inside, the kitchen was fully furnished so we could have cooked easily. There is a pillow on the couch that says "Good Vibes", which is very appropriate. We felt at home or like we had walked into a good friend's home.
We loved the home and the Park behind us. Our vacation was great and the weather was perfect. We enjoyed the lovely back screened porch at night. It was so peaceful and we enjoyed family time on it each night. The only issue was the main bedroom had no storage for clothes. There was no closet for hanging clothes and no empty drawers so we had to live out of our suitcase. That was easy to overcome since everything else was great. Thanks for sharing you home with us.

Billie!
So glad you enjoyed your time here. We love that back porch as well - it's a magical place. Thanks for the bottle of wine, that was kind of you.
I blew it on the closet and drawers - so sorry. The front room has 4 large empty drawers as well as plenty of closet space. Apologies for that miss.
We'd love to have you back anytime.

What makes this property unique
Our guests say it best:
Truly great house. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed staying at this lovely home. It’s in a great location (central to just about everything), it is immaculate with everything one could want from a vacation rental. It is very well stocked and comfortable. It has a great solar radiant heating system throughout that keeps the house at a perfect temperature 24/7. Eric and Shanti were very helpful and super easy to deal with. We were there looking at CU Boulder for our daughter. If she ends up going there, we will definitely try and stay at this house again when we visit.
This house is super comfy and clean. Everything is how it should be to make a guest feel at home. We also loved how convenient the location was, with direct access to the highway, neighboring creek trial, and proximity to downtown. A perfect choice.
