About this property
Newer 2350 SQ FT Townhouse private, close to downtown, hilltop views, A/C
This house if 5 years old, but shows as new since it has been our lightly used vacation home.
Situated on top if a hill, every single window in this house has picture-postcard views . This property is a destination in itself. You will never tire of the beauty of this setting. The house itself is a roomy (2300 sq ft) home built on four levels:
Level 1: The master bedroom/bath is on the lower level by itself, and has a king bed and a futon that makes a full bed. It has a covered patio with swing seat and table.
Level 2: Entry level has powder room and coat closet
Level 3: Kitchen and the great room with large covered patio.
Level 4: Top level has two bedrooms, a bathroom, and laundry room.
Two large covered patios are wonderful for sitting or dining outside. The upper patio has a BBQ grill along with table and chairs for dining. Fireplaces are in both the master bedroom and the great room.
Stairs are carpeted and child friendly. The upper patio is 23 feet above ground, which affords wonderful views. The patio has railing, but for children who like to climb over railings, it can be a hazard, so please be aware.

About the host
Hosted by Greg Westbrook

Hi, I'm Greg...a retired electrical engineer having worked for Motorola, Medtronic, Freescale, and NXP. Yes, some people call us engineers "nerds", and there may be some truth to that! I still take consulting jobs from time to time
Why they chose this property
We bought this townhouse so we could escape the heat in Phoenix in summer. We had the good fortune to be able to purchase a lot on a hill overlooking the entrance to the subdividion. It is close to NAU and downtown Flagstaff. It is also one of the few Flagstaff properties that has no freeway noise or train noise.
Every window has forest views that are compelling.

What makes this property unique
The feeling of being in a forest, but with a few houses in the distance. Very peaceful, and yet very close to downtown Flagstaff. The upper patio off the kitchen is such a great place to hang out whether on the computer, or enjoying a meal. Its great to just watch the occasional car come and go on the road far below.
We are actually in Flagstaff proper with very short drive (or hike) to NAU, Coconino Community College, and old-town Flagstaff.
You can access the FUTS (Flagstaff Urban Trail System) from our front door.
