This 1 bedroom cottage is within walking distance to downtown. Restaurants, shopping, wineries, family activities, and nightlife are all within a 1/2 mile. A large driveway to park your car or golf cart is available directy in front of the cottage if you choose. Easy ground level access with high vaulted ceilings, full bathroom, a full kitchen, and a pull out couch. Perfect for small families! Cottage has separate entrances and complete privacy. However, this cottage is attached to an islander's family residence that live there full time. Sorry, no bachelor/bachelorette parties. Owners will confirm number of guests at check in. This cottage is best suited for 2 adults or a small family. With a queen bed and a pull out couch, there is not a lot of personal space if you aren't used to sleeping together.

**We now have golf carts available for rent at special rates for our guests.

This vacation rental was a lovely experience! Close to the action without being too close for when you need a bit of quiet. The hosts do a great job of ensuring you have everything you might need for a comfortable stay, all wrapped up with environmentally sound products and practices. Cannot recommend more.

First off, the location cannot be beat. It was also very convenient to have the golf cart rental right there at the property. However, the house was advertised as having a queen size bed, but it was only a full & we weren’t told until the day of check in. My husband is a tall guy & he was not comfortable sleeping. The rental also had a pretty bad ant issue - lots of really big ants in the front room, bedroom, laundry room & bathroom. I reported this to the owners & they put a box of ant traps by the front door for us to open & place around the rental. This may be a new problem- I’m not sure, but it certainly affected our comfort level in the rental. Unfortunately, on a summer weekend we could not find another rental for the .2nd night.

Unfortunately we did have the queen bed frame break from the renters just before this check in. There just wasn't time to get a new frame between turnover. We did have a brand new full size frame and mattress in our employee housing and thought that was better than having the box spring just sitting on the floor or a tilted mattress. The guests were notified of the bed size change at check in and we were unaware this was a problem. Had we been informed when we told them or at any point during their stay, (not just after and in the reviews) we could have come up with a solution fairly quickly. We had no idea there were ants inside and were only told thru text that there were "just a few around the front door" and not everywhere in the rental. We immediately put ant traps out as a temporary fix for the moment. Being that this rental is attached to our main house, an ant problem is not something we'd ignore or that we were aware of at all. This was a new problem we have since taken care of. We did have lightning hit a very large tree just outside the rental the week before that was professionally taken down with equipment and that must have disturbed an ant's nest in the process being that they were larger wood ants in the area. Again, simple communication during our guests stay can resolve most issues at the time of the problem and not after in the reviews.

Very clean, comfortable and walking distance to everything. Quiet location, got a great night's sleep. Would highly recommend for a small family or friend group. Nicely air conditioned as well.

Excellent location!!

We needed a quick getaway and this place was perfect.We rented the golf cart onstie but downtown was within walking distance.Cottage was clean and spacious perfect for a couple.

Another great stay

Fantastic hosts, who are great communicators, convenience of renting a golf cart from them, clean, cute, definitely walking distance to the heart of Put In Bay. Just cannot say enough nice things about our second stay there.

Great little cottage

Very clean and had everything that we needed. Check in was easy and all the information for our stay was there. Maps and recommendations were available. Very easy walk to get to the restaurants and sights but away from the noise of the area.
