Just Lovely
Lovely cottage a stones throw from the beach. We were very lucky and had glorious weather. We had a few communication challenges to start with as the property is managed by Sykes and they dont check the messaging on Vrbo. Communcation with the owners was much better. Very comfortable stay but the cottage could do with a few upgrades, ie a new fridge, big block of ice covering back wall of the fridge which in fairness the owners offered to defrost but we already had food in it and the freezer. Could do with more glasses, bigger mugs and we added a few utensils, new serving spoon, tongs and a small sharp knife. Garden could use some attention, bushes to be trimmed back, lawn needs mowing and the hose at the back leaks. Beds very comfortable, great shower, lovely neighbours, the manor next door does lovely food with friendly staff, whats not to like, oh and you do get used to be woken up by seagulls!!
