About this property

Beach themed Annexe close to Chichester, West Wittering beach and Goodwood

The Annexe is a lovely beach themed living space with spacious upstairs double bedroom and smaller downstairs living space with 2 additional single beds plus kitchenette area and separate shower room/wc. You are independent with your own separate front door and off-road parking space. DOGS OK on request! We provide a microwave (and 2 ring worktop cooker if required).

We are close to Southend Barns, the beaches at West Wittering and East Head, Goodwood, Bosham and Chichester. Space for surf boards, kite surfs, bikes in garage on request.

The Annexe is ideal for either 1 or 2 adults (sleeping in upstairs double bed bedroom) or adult(s) with up to 2 children (sleeping in single beds downstairs). If 2 couples book and the second couple want to use the downstairs single beds, that's also fine although the bathroom can only be accessed through the downstairs living area where the single beds are. (The Annexe is quite small for 4 adults.) When not in use, the 2nd single bed slides under the first to form a day bed/sofa. In the kitchenette, there is a sink, mini fridge and a microwave. Please note there is no door between the upstairs and downstairs areas, just a staircase.

Guest access
The Annexe has its own separate front door accessed from the drive and independent of our house. Use of front garden for well behaved children and pets! There is plenty of parking on the drive for 2 guest cars.

Lovely self-contained pet-friendly annex with everything we needed during our stay. The bathroom is snug and the sink very small but we managed just fine. The hosts were very friendly and helpful although we only saw them once briefly! Various off lead dog walks from the door and a lovely canal walk to Chichester.

We found the Annexe to be very comfortable and well-appointed, with immediate essentials provided in the kitchen. Handy location for Chichester and surrounding area. Property was clean and well presented although access to upper sleeping floor may present a challenge to those with limited mobility. Communication with owners was excellent and instructions to get to location were clear.Definitely one to stay at again.

Everything we hoped for!

A charming property, clean and with everything we needed. Julie gave us a warm welcome welcoming and was very helpful, making suggestions and recommendations for our stay. It’s a peaceful location, only a short walk from the canal - perfect for a stroll to Chichester, where the cathedral and gardens are well worth seeing. West Wittering beach is nearby too.

Beautiful Autumn Weekend

Lovely base for our walking weekend, met by Julie who showed us around and was really helpful. Fantastic location close to The Spotted Cow for dinner and a short walk to the Chichester canal. Beautifully Bijou

A beautiful spot to spend a few days exploring the local area. Ideal for a small family who want to get out and about, knowing they have a comfortable place to stay at the end of a weary day. Fantastic welcoming helpful hosts, and having the basics provided (breakfast - especially a pint of milk, tea and coffee; cleaning products etc) makes arriving and settling in so much easier. The Annexe, Hunston

Very cute and comfortable space. Julie was there to greet us and show us around, pointing out the quirky things we needed to know. She also suggested places to visit and for meals. Because no one was booked in right after us, Julie extended our check-out time,which we appreciated. We really enjoyed our stay at the Annexe.

Why they chose this property

We moved here from London in 2008 and loved this house for its history, position in the village and proximity to Chichester harbour. The lovely beach themed annexe was the old granary for the farmhouse next door and we weren't using it often so we wanted to make it available to holidaymakers.
