9 Fernhill Penthouse is a luxurious two bedroom apartment with two bathrooms, where up to four guests can enjoy a relaxing stay with breathtaking sea views from the balcony across Carbis Bay to Godrevy lighthouse and beyond.

Beautifully furnished and well-equipped, 9 Fernhill Penthouse provides comfortable and contemporary accommodation. The open-plan living accommodation includes a modern and spacious sitting room, dining room and superb kitchen with high quality appliances, including a fresh filtered water tap and coffee machine. From the dining area, bi-folding doors open out to the fabulous balcony where you can sit on the rattan furniture provided and breathe in the sea air whilst taking in stunning views of Carbis Bay.

The master bedroom has a comfortable king-size bed and en-suite bathroom complete with double ended jacuzzi bath. Bedroom two is a twin room and has use of a shower room with walk-in rain head shower. Underfloor heating throughout the apartment will keep you warm and toasty in all seasons.

Outside, guests have use of the communal garden and garden furniture. From here, a private path takes you to Carbis Bay beach in around five minutes' walk. Beautiful St Ives can be reached by a short car or rail journey, or alternatively by a twenty five minute breath-taking coastal walk.

A well-behaved dog is very welcome at 9 Fernhill Penthouse, making it ideal for guests wanting to discover the coastline with their canine companions. With direct access to the coast path from the garden, it's easy to head out on foot and enjoy the stunning surroundings. We simply ask that dogs are kept on a lead while in the communal garden to ensure a calm and considerate space for everyone.

For those attending local weddings, the Penthouse is a perfect place to stay and has been rated 5 Star Gold by Visit England.

Peaceful paradise with a view

Perfect for a peaceful relaxing holiday, close to our favourite hotel at carbis bay plus a lovely walk into st Ives, Close to a number of places to visit, What more could anyone want 😊

Cosy, clean and comfortable bolt hole

Lovely stay at Fernhill apartments. The property was in great condition and spotlessly clean. The photos online don’t do the space justice. Comfy beds and sofas and a well equipped kitchen. We did struggle to use the (old) washing machine and the ended up having to empty and clean the filters (yuk!) but I think we were unlucky there. It’s a steep walk (climb!) down to the beautiful beach so not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. All in all a wonderful week in a great spot.

Carbis Bay 2021

A exceptional property with the most outstanding views we have ever encountered in our time of holidaying in Cornwall! The property is very modern with a high quality decor and is furnished very well. My wife and I stayed for a week with our two daughters and had the most amazing holiday to the point that we rebooked upon returning home to stay again in 2022 and we are now counting down the days! You will not be disappointed if you stay at this property it’s all you could want in a holiday let!

Excellent week as always

Been to Carbis Bay many times. This visit didn’t disappoint. The accommodation was excellent with stunning views. The walk back from the beach certainly provided a work out, but the apartment was worth the hike! If I could change one thing it would be to have two showers in the apartment. Four people wanting showers at the end of a beach day would be much easier with more than one shower. However this has not stopped us booking again for next year.

Wonderful views and location

No 9 is the Penthouse and has amazing views from the balcony over towards Godrevey. We spent many hours sitting on the balcony and enjoyed the location’s proximity to the beach and footpaths. Luxuriously and simply furnished it was a pleasure to stay in.

Penthouse apartment accessed via four small flights of stairs.
Inside:
Open-plan sitting/dining/kitchen area.
Sitting room:
With two leather sofas, coffee table and 55" Ultra HD Smart wall mounted television with DVD player. An iPod and CD music centre is provided along with board games for both adults and children.
Kitchen
With an oven and hob, dishwasher, fresh filtered water tap, fridge, freezer, microwave and Nespresso coffee machine. There is also a washing machine, iron and ironing board.
Dining area
With table and seating for four guests. Patio doors fold right back to reveal the outside balcony with sea view and two wicker chairs and table.
Bedroom one
With a 5' king-size bed and wall mounted 32 inch television with built in DVD player.
En-suite bathroom
With double ended jacuzzi bath, wash basin and WC.
Bedroom two
With twin 3' single beds and a wall mounted 32 inch television with built in DVD player.
Shower room
Adjacent to bedroom two with a walk-in rain head shower, wash basin and WC.

Outside:
There is a communal garden with garden furniture with a private path from the garden that links up with a five minute walk to Carbis Bay beach. The path links with the coastal path, which makes a beautiful walk to either St Ives or Hayle Sands.
Allocated parking for one car immediately outside the front of the building.
