Great views and location - (tiny) little gem
This was just as the photos showed - great location and an easy walk into the town and harbour with lovely views to the sea.
The apartment is very small but that is indicated in the advertisement. The bathroom is particularly tiny. Opening the dormer window helps makes the rest of the space seem bigger. This was fine for a couple, but not sure how many people this apartment would realistically manage. Parents and 2 small children perhaps
Nicely decorated and good quality crockery, glassware etc.
Initial provisions of tea coffee milk etc were great but, for some reason, no soap or shampoo.
The 2nd bedroom, with bunk beds, does not have a window. When we were there the remote to open the skylight was not working. We reported this and someone came to replace the battery, so hopefully they returned and this is now fixed otherwise there is no way to get fresh air into the room.
Carparking is very useful in St Ives but the car space is quite a distance away from the apartment - a few blocks uphill.
Communication with the letting company was ok but not great. Directions to the property and parking are very confusing and should be rewritten. In our correspondence re a few issues, the agent did not seem to have 100% knowledge of the property
Overall, would recommend for a couple happy to climb stairs to the top floor and park at some distance.
