Casa Carolina is a detached villa with its own private pool and outside bar which will accommodate alfresco dining with the large gas BBQ. It offers 5 well sized bedrooms, two bathrooms, with a kitchen and open planned dining room/lounge.

Access to the house is via a steep private road that is not tarmacked but the locals have no trouble traversing it in little hatchbacks.

There are eating areas both in the sun and the shade. The veranda gives a good choice to start the day and move to the pool area which has a large patio for many sun loungers and a good selection of seating choices. The Villa is set in its own vineyards with neighbouring vineyards all around. The space in Casa Caroline is approx 2 acres. The property not only boasts great views but it also has all the home creature comforts that will make your holiday here even more enjoyable. Games, DVDs, books, and play-stations 2 &3 for the children and adults alike, plus the dishwasher, washing machine, well stocked kitchen utensils and apparatus, relaxing furniture and good storage. There are 5 bedrooms, Bedroom 1, has king-size bed and 2 double wardrobes, bedside tables and desk. Bedroom 2, 2 sets of Bunk Beds and two double wardrobes, Bedroom 3, has twin beds with wardrobe and chest of draws. Bedroom 4, has a Double bed with wardrobes and chest of draws. Bedroom 5 has a double bed, sofa bed and loads of storage and opens on to Verandah.

Schöne ungebung aber nicht so hygienisch

Der pool war schön aber hat keine abdeckung das heisst jeden morgen die fliegen zu entfernen. Das haus sieht so ganz schön aus aber die sauberkeit ist nicht gerade gut geräte in der küche dreckig bäder voller kalk und die möbel sind viele veraltet. Habe ich mir mehr erwartet. Kühlschränke im aussenbereich für getränke funktionieren nicht und das Angebot von fernseher und spielen ist teilweise nicht funktionstüchtig. Und ein ferienhaus ohne wlan wie hier ist heutzutage auch nicht mehr Standard. Wenn man mit kleinkindern wie wir verreist muss man sehr aufpassen da nach dem pool es 2 bis 3 meter in die tiefe geht ohne ein geländer ist sehr gefährlich. Fatzit einmal hin nie wieder

The road up to the house is actually impossible to drive on without four-wheel drive. With my Passat, I had to back up three times to get a running start. The house itself (living rooms, bath rooms and kitchen) where cleaned up and OK. But it was impossible to close the doors silently as these squeaked and jammed. The garage and basement was full of all kinds of things and very messy and dirty. The pool wasn’t cleaned. Also the Bar at the Pool was very messy and dirty. The grill was horrible dirty. The gas bottle for it was nearly empty and the spare gas bottle was empty. The heating wasn’t switched on and we had to find out on our own how it works (wood pellet heating). For what the house has to offer, the price is decidedly too high. I cannot recommend this house at all.

Forfærdeligt slidt hus med fugt

Vi kan ikke anbefale at leje denne villa. Vi blev meget skuffet, og vi syntes slet ikke, at annoncen eller de 5 daværende anmeldelser afspejlede virkeligheden i og udenfor huset. Inden vi ankom, havde vi ingen rutevejledning eller andre informationer modtaget af udlejer. Vi kunne derfor ikke finde huset, og vi måtte via vrbo bede udlejer om at sende sit telefonnummer. Det skete efter 30-45 minutter, hvor vi kørte rundt og spurgte tilfældige om hjælp til at finde huset. Da vi fik telefonnummeret, virkede det ikke, og vi måtte igen skrive på vrbo og bede udlejer om at ringe til os. Det kunne udlejer ikke, da udlejer spillede golf, men udlejers ægtefælle kunne ringe 30 minutter senere! Dårlig service. Da vi endelig fandt huset, uden hjælp fra udlejer, var der temmelig beskidt - der var rod og ting overalt både inde og ude. Flere ting var ødelagt i huset, virker meget slidt. Det lignede mest af alt et stort byggerod udenfor. Eksempler på mangler indenfor: Lamperne i gangen virkede ikke (skift dem selv sagde udlejer), toilettet på 1. sal (hvor alle soveværelser er) virkede ikke (brug en spand sagde udlejer), ledninger stikker ud af huller i væggen, der var kun varmt vand på badeværelserne få dage (så man kunne ikke tage bad andre dage), poolen var beskidt (rens den selv sagde udlejer), intet wifi, 5 tv men ingen virkede, især underetagen var slem (køkken og stue), der var fugt i køkkenet og en meget fæl lugt af, at det er sundhedsskadeligt at opholde sig her, servicen var beskidt, overalt var der møgbeskidt. Vi underrettede udlejer flere gange, men huset forblev uværdigt til udlejning. Vi ankom lørdag og først efter flere løbende henvendelser og klager til udlejer modtog vi torsdag en “house guide”, som udlejer troede, udlejer havde sendt til os, inden vi kom. I den stod der bl.a., at toilettet ikke kunne laves. Der er en smuk udsigt udenfor ved poolen. Vi badede også i poolen, men vi var nervøse for, om vi blev syge, da vi ikke havde tillid til, at værdierne i poolen var i orden henset til alt det andet snavs, vi var vidne til. Efter henvendelse til udlejer, kom der nogle og puttede klor i poolen. Mange af udendørs møblerne var meget slidte - og er enten skæve eller ødelagte, ligesom baren virker utrolig snusket og beskidt. Vi ville gerne have set en anmeldelse af de virkelige (dårlige) forhold inde og udenfor villaen.

Prachtige locatie

Het is een wat gedateerde vakantiewoning met prachtige terras, met mooi zwembad en fabulous uitzicht. Alles wat nodig is, is aanwezig, maar is verouderd. Voor ons geen enkel problem. prijs kwaliteit verhouding is precies goed. Contact met partijen ter plaatse is goed en contact met eigenaar is prettig De streek is prachtige voor een vakantie in het italiaanse platteland. Wii hebben genoten van dit heerlijke huis

Villa très agréable, spacieuse au beau milieu des vignes piémontaises donnant un cadre calme et reposant, parfait pour de belles vacances au bord de la piscine. Caves à vins et restaurants à proximités, et la petite ville d'Acqui Terme est à une dizaine de minutes de voiture donnant accès à tous les commerces nécessaires. Turin également accessible à un peu plus d'un heure de voiture. Bref une belle semaine de vacances entre amis dans le Piemont :)

Skøn udsigt, rolige omgivelser

Super lækker terrasse og stor og dejlig pool. Udsigten er fantastisk og man glemmer alt om hverdagens stress og jag. Store og gode soveværelser. En del fugtproblemer i køkkenet, men med muligheden for at lave det meste mad på grillen er det ikke den største udfordring i sommermånederne. Vi var to familier med i alt 5 børn og nød virkelig pool og terrasse.

Toppenbra villa för stor familj

Vi bodde två familjer tillsammans i en vecka och är mycket nöjda. Poolen och utebaren med extra kylskåp var guld värd då det var ganska varmt denna vecka i juli. Extra plus för alla aktivitetssaker som finns att låna. Vi kommer gärna tillbaka :-)

Stunning Panorama and location

We stayed for 10 days, and after driving from airport (which was no problems at all) we arrived at Casa Carolina. The vista and situation is ideal for a chilled out time with or without kids. Its about 10 minutes drive from Aqua Terme, a medium size town with plenty of bars and restaurants, as well as a very good Lido (unfortunately we didn't have time to visit) .Casa Carolina has all mod cons and comprises of 4 large bedrooms and a large toilet/washroom upstairs, but its the outside area that sells this place. A stunning view looking out from the end of the pool across the small vineyard valleys all around. You will never get tired of looing out from the pool. The pool bar area is well thought out and very user friendly, with everything you need, from a large wall mounted TV (with sky) to numerous fridges and storage.Gas BBQ and out door shower , as well as countless pool equipment means endless games by the pool. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed or stay, and were so chilled out by the end of the holiday, we were all gutted to be going home.

holiday to remember

My Husband and I had a great time the Pool was lovely and accommodation Good nice and clean and plenty of space. you do need a car to go to the town which has plenty of bars and great places to eat I would also like to add that I recommend this holiday for a relaxing time with views of wonderful country side.

Why they chose this property

You would rent this property if you want to get away from it all but be close enough to a town for an array of Restaurants from Pizzeria's to Michelin Starred Gastronomic feasts. In the summer there many local fiesta's to attend as well as cultural events in Acqui.

The property itself offers a great outside space to relax or entertain large groups with an above average pool size and pool bar. Planned for Summer 2018 is a new outdoor kitchen adjacent to the bar.

We have owned the property since 2005 and love the area and people. There is still so much we want to see.

What makes this property unique

The "infinity" pool that we put in a few years ago with a proper bar and 40 inch screen linked to sky is great as is watching the sunset to the west sitting by the side of the pool.
