La Casa di Rosa is a large apartment located in the beautiful historic centre of Varenna. Ideal for those who want to stay at a few steps from Piazza San Giorgio, from the lake with the characteristic and picturesque "Riva Grande", from the famous lakeside promenade and also very close to the main tourist attractions as well as restaurants, shops, bars and clubs.

Completely renovated, the apartment on one floor is accessible by internal staircase and comprises entrance hall, dining area with kitchenette, bedroom with double bed plus single bed and bathroom with shower. A small corridor divides this area from a second sleeping area with bathroom with shower, bathroom with sink and toilet and large double bedroom with double bed, single sofa bed and mini-bar.

La Casa di Rosa offers modern furnishings to which are added some antique elements which creates a delightful contrast to the view.

The fully equipped kitchen has a microwave, cooking utensils, electric kettle (also in the second bedroom), coffee machine, stove with four burners.

Each bedroom has a flat screen TV and fans. The apartment also has a washing machine, iron and ironing board and clothesline.

La Casa di Rosa is located in the centre of Varenna, just 150 meters from the parking lot, 400 meters from Varenna station, with trains to and from Milan at all hours, and 300 meters from the pier that connects Varenna to Bellagio, Cadenabbia, Menaggio, Tremezzo and all the centre of the lake

Perfect for family

Great location to easily cover all of Varenna. Could hear the sound of waves from the bedrooms - not much more to ask for. Would stay here again.

Perfect location, wonderful view, comfortable beds. We stayed here a few years ago with our children. Came again with our friends.

We stayed there 4 days. It was just a really good location with a lot of restaurant around. Just the house is a bit old and for the money it would be better. But overall it was great !

Nice place to stay

Overall the property was good, however, we had no hot water a few times during our 4 night stay. After 2 light showers, there was no hot water for anyone else to shower or shave in our group of 4. The property did not supply any cleaning supplies for the dishes and it could use a newer style coffee maker for future guests.

Wonderful Location

We enjoyed our stay but were not prepared for no heat. Be prepared to pull your luggage down and when you leave up multiple stone/pebble stairs. Also do get late night noise from walkway in second bedroom.
