The Country Farm Podere il Moro is ideal for groups upto 20 people. This old farmhouse has been renovated and divided into 5 independent, self-catering apartments, with all the comforts you need. Apart is a fully fitted professional kitchen and a large covered veranda with outside table and chairs for easy outdoor eating together. The farm is 10km outside of Siena, in the countryside on 150 acres of biological cultivated land. To complete the setting is a newly renovated beautiful swimming pool and an area for children to play safely. In the last years we decided to not rent the apartments singly, but as one complete complex.
Podere il Moro is a family-run farmhouse. Ideal for groups of up to 20 people who can take advantage of 5 modern apartments equipped with all comforts in the old renovated farmhouse of the farm.
The property offers - included in the price - a series of services available to the guests: the swimming pool with sun loungers and umbrellas, games for children, the large gazebo for outdoor group lunches, the wood oven / barbecue and (cherry on the top) a separate professional kitchen with professional equipment where it is possible to prepare meals for large groups of people.
The staff at Agriturismo il Moro collaborates with renowned chefs who can prepare lunches or dinners for the entire property. Prices and menus are tailored to the guests' tastes and preferences, offering a range from typical Tuscan dishes (such as crostini neri, ribollita, and pici) to meat or seafood menus. One of the strengths of il Moro is its position: in the municipality of Sovicille on the Siena-Grosseto state road. It is in the open countryside, overlooking the hills and the city of Siena on the horizon, which is only 10 minutes away by car.


In less than an hour you can reach cities of art such as Florence, San Gimignano, Pienza, Montalcino, or spend a day at the thermal baths of Petriolo or take a trip to seaside resorts on the coast.

You can discover small villages on bike or trekking tours, get to know a farm up close or simply enjoy nature in complete relaxation.

What our guests most love to do is enjoy nature, dive into the pool, sunbathe on the comfortable loungers by the pool, take walks on the farm roads, go cycling, visit the cities of art, spend a day at the spa, or at the sea.

Il Moro farm has an area of 150 hectares for organic farming. We produce extra virgin olive oil, durum wheat and soft wheat, coriander, legumes, medicinal plants, honey.

We have chosen organic

All our agricultural products are organic and they are strictly controlled and certified as organic.
The land, a family passion

For over fifty years, the Daidone family has been dedicated to the agricultural cultivation of Podere il Moro. In ancient times, the farm land was part of a much larger estate, as evidenced by the coat of arms which is the same as that of other neighboring farms.
About ten years ago, the company was converted to organic farming. The company is associated with Coldiretti, an Organisation of agricultural entrepreneurs at national and European level.


We organic farm to produce high quality food without the use of synthetic chemicals (fertilizers, herbicides, insecticides, chemical fungicides) or GMOs (Genetically Modified Organisms), improving soil fertility with natural methods such as crop rotation.

Together with the safety of the products, organic farming contributes to maintaining the healthiness of the air and water. The environment is important to us as well as the health of our guests.

It can accommodate up to 20 guests. Il Moro is ideal for groups of up to 20 people. An old renovated farmhouse with 5 independent apartments equipped with all comforts. The apartments will not be rented individually.


The 5 apartments have been renovated in accordance with the original rustic style, each have an independent entrance, with a small garden or outdoor area equipped with chairs and a small table for dining al fresco.

The individual apartments have been furnished with care, have a living / dining room with kitchenette equipped with dishes, microwave oven, drying rack, sofa bed, one or more bedrooms with the possibility of an extra bed, bathroom with shower, TV with satellite dish, mosquito nets, free Wi-Fi.


Tourist tax of 1.50 euros per person for a maximum of six nights (children up to 12 years do not pay)

Final cleaning and sanitation: for each booking 520.00 euros (entire 5 apartments)
Deposit on arrival 800.00 euros (entire 5 apartments)
Pets allowed 50.00 euros for final cleaning and disinfection
Consumption of electricity when 200kwh is exceeded: € 0.70 for each additional kwh of consumption
Minimum stay 3 nights, in high season minimum 7 nights.
Arrival must take place in the afternoon from 16.30 to 19.00;
Departure before 10.00 in the morning.
