Seagull Cottage is a sweet, light and airy holiday cottage set in the village of Aldwick near to Chichester. The cottage is close to the beach at Aldwick and a short distance to lovely costal walks. Seagull Cottage has been newly converted and carefully decorated to the highest standards.
Seagull Cottage has a lovely relaxing feel and is ideally situated for relaxing weekend breaks or full on activity holidays.
The cottage can comfortably sleep four guests with two beautiful double bedrooms and the new modern kitchen has everything you need to comfortably self-cater for your stay with a washing machine, microwave and toaster.
There is a pretty courtyard garden with seating for four.

Lovely cottage

Great cottage for a stay in West Sussex. Good location with off road parking. Peaceful and cosy with comfortable beds and good shower. TV not a Smart one and internet reception a bit hit and miss but not a problem. Would stay again if in area.

Enjoyable Place to Stay

The cottage was very clean and comfortable. Location was also great. The kitchen had everything we needed, and we appreciated all the amenities. Check in and out was easy too. Thank you for a nice place to stay.

Our usual base for a short stop in Bognor

We always stay at this cottage when visiting my parents during a trip over from australia. It is convenient, comfortable and has everything we need. The bathroom is a bit tight on space if we have our son with us, but the living area is spacious. Beds are comfy and always plenty of fluffy towels. It’s in a quiet area, but easy to walk to the beach and local shops.

Ideal location for exploring the area. Loved the walks up and down the promenade and in the beach.

Good. Easy to find and good location. Ideal for two people or parents and child/children who can share double bed. Small for four people.

Beautiful cottage in a handy location

I booked this cottage for the 2nd time for my parents who are in their 70’s and they loved every minute of their 10 night stay. The location is great - close to lovely walks and with shops a 15min walk away. The sea front is walkable in 30 mins or so. The cottage is spotlessly clean and has everything you’d need for even a long stay. The hosts left some food and milk in the fridge which was a lovely touch. I would definitely book this again

A beautiful cosy cottage

A perfect cottage for a family stay in Bognor to see family. Clean, comfortable with everything we needed. Very well equipped - (would have just added a retractable outdoor washing line, not essential, but useful!). Even had tea, coffee, sugar, dishwashing and clothes washing pods. Beautifully furnished with comfy beds. Would stay again!

Perfect short stay

We have stayed in this cottage regularly. Beds are comfy and everything you need is there. The only issue we had this time is that although we had the radiators on, and they are apparently linked to a thermostat, they barely seemed to come on and we were a little chilly early morning and evening. Otherwise, everything was perfect.

Lovely short break

We stayed for a long weekend. Ideal for visiting West Sussex by car. We went to Weald and Downlands Museum and Arundel Castle. Cottage very comfortable. We only had breakfast in the cottage as we ate out but the kitchen seemed well equipped. Wi-Fi a little slow.

Ideally located near our renovation and amenities very close by.

We had a nice stay here. The place was small but it was just the two of us. The owner next door was very nice and helpful when I asked to loan something for the house. The beds were comfortable. To enhance the space available I would suggest that a lot of the knick knacks be removed and the bulky DVD player. The dining room table was too small for 4 people as we were only 2 it was OK. We used the bar stools in the kitchen a lot and ate there while my husband WFH on the small dining table. Nice touch of paperbacks on loan and some free tea and coffee.

Clean, lovely area

Very clean, comfortable bed and excellent shower. Heating operated by next door which was a pain, but once notified they were prompt in switching on for us. Switches for cooker and hob are in cupboard behind the glasses. A very pleasant stay, in a safe and lovely neighborhood, would deffo recommend. Thanks

What a great place

Seagull cottage is a wonderful place to spend a week or two. There is plenty of space, a lovingly decorated sitting room and upstairs bedrooms with comfy beds. The surroundings are just magnificent. A 10-minute walk to the beach, an endless choice of sightseeing in the area, from Chichester to Arundel. Couldn't be better.

Super comfortable beds

Lovely cottage, well placed for day trips around the area, Chichester, Arundel and lots of gardens. Super comfortable beds and beautifully decorated cottage. We were house hunting so found the location perfect for visiting different areas along the coast. The Lion in Pagham does very good pub food.

A really comfortable cottage with a lovely choice of furniture and fixtures. The beds were very comfortable The linen was of good quality as were the white towels. The stairs were quite steep so would not recommend if you are elderly and unsteady on your feet. Overall a lovely cottage to spend a relaxing break near to the sea. The only downside was that there wasn't a dishwasher as listed in the Facilities.

Beautiful and Comfortable Accommodation

We loved Seagull Cottage - we chose it as the location for our 2020 Staycation to give us a change of scene but so that I was closer to work when necessary. Booking was straightforward and arrival and access instructions clear. The accommodation was beautifully decorated and furnished, spotlessly clean, very comfortable and immediately welcoming. Everything we needed to make a mug of tea (and a biscuit) before we in packed was provided. The location was a good base for exploring the area, we could walk to Aldwick beach but needed to drive elsewhere. We loved walking along the coast particularly around Pagham Harbour, the seasonal drive-in cinema at Goodwood motor circuit, Tangmere Military Aviation Museum and exploring Chichester. In our Covid-19 journey we weren’t ready to eat out though there are plenty of local opportunities to do so. The WiFi was adequate to check emails but wouldn’t support streaming videos etc.

Thank you for taking the time to leave such a lovely review. I am so pleased you made the most of everything going on in and around Chichester even during these more unusual times. I have been keen to try the drive in cinema at Goodwood myself it looks fab! We have tried boosting the wifi but the area just doesn't seem to have very strong wifi at the moment unfortunately. We agree - for now it's suited to browsing rather than streaming. Please do visit again when you are in the area.
