Our house is a 1902 Prairie Foursquare with loads of old charm. We are located in the heart of Old Town Fort Collins, close to CSU and three blocks from downtown. We are walking distance to several of the finest Microbreweries in Colorado. The apartment has a separate, private entrance, and large 4' high windows in every room. Bright and cheery with warm atmosphere is an understatement. We look forward to meeting people from many places and backgrounds

Fort Collins paradise

Carol and Fred’s place was just wonderful. The place had everything we needed and more!It was so easy to get around the area. Walking distance to many restaurants and shops.If we come back to Fort Collins this is the place we would stay. Thank you for making our trip so special.

Very comfortable and fantastic place to stay. Right in middle of everything and easy access to downtown via short walk. Close to main hwy for vehicle travel. Just a beautiful place to stay.

Great Place to Stay

I would recommend this place to anybody visiting Fort Collins. The house was very clean, in a great location and you can tell that the hosts put in a lot of effort to offer guests everything they could need inside the house.

Great Location

We loved our stay at this beautiful property in Ft Collins. The location was fantastic and walkable to shops, restaurants and breweries. We will definitely stay here again on a return trip to Ft Collins.

Stay was great. Place was cozy and fully stocked! Perfect location for exploring old town FoCo. Had a great time and would certainly stay here again if we return to Fort Collins.

Phenomenal Fort Collins stay

The hosts we very welcoming and the pictures do not do the property justice… very well maintained sanctuary in Old Town. Walking distance to many area restaurants and attractions. Nice private entrance and the accommodations had everything you need for your stay. I would highly recommend and we will be back!

Beautiful place.

Fred and Carol have a beautiful place, central to all that Old Town Ft Collins has to offer. It was a place of respite for our family visit complete with everything we could have needed. We were comfortable and felt well taken care of.

Beautiful home!

We enjoyed this home away from home very much! It was complete with all things needed for a relaxing getaway—walking distance to Old Town, comfortable living areas, essentials in the kitchen, and amazing landscaping and comfortable outdoor hang out areas.

Hosts were very nice. Greeted us and made sure we had what we needed. The apartment was nice (great woodwork) well furnished and the kitchen fully stocked with all the tools. Great location in Old Town. Would definitely stay here again.

Quiet get away

This a perfect place to stay if you are interested in exploring Old Town and Downtown Fort Collins, all within walking distance. The apartment was very clean, well equipped, comfortable, and quiet. Our party had three adults and the two bedrooms suited us well.If you have or had any interest in woodworking, you need to check this place out. The finish work is a labor of love.

We had so much fun and was perfect for our reunion. Fred and Carol are so sweet and truly care about you and your needs. The back yard and patio are absolutely beautiful and perfect for backyard BBQ gathering. They made sure we had everything we needed and were such a pleasure to chat with! Thank you for having us!

Cozy, feels like home

This is sick a beautiful property inside and out. With beautiful wood work inside and a super cozy, homey feel, you don’t feel like you’re in a rental property. There is every thing you could need to make a meal and more in the kitchen when it comes to utensils and spices and basic needs. The back patio and gardens are gorgeous and peace full and a great place to relax. As for location this is the best location you could imagine in Dr. Collins. So easy to walk everywhere with so many opens for amazing food and drinks you will never get bored! And the property owners are super kind and helpful. I look forward to visiting this property again any time I’m visiting ft. Collins! .

Absolutely Delightful Accommodations!

Staying at Carol and Fred’s was a dream! The apartment was incredibly stocked with plenty of linens and an amazing amount of kitchen appliances and cookware and dishes. The cleanliness of the apartment was evident and very welcome. Their gorgeous back yard full of flowers and seating was a perfect place to relax over dinner or a cup of coffee. The place is just a few blocks from Old Town and we walked down there several times a day. Rocky Mountain National Park was about 1.25 hours away. Fred and Carol are delightful and attentive. This vacation home and location made our week one of our favorite vacations! Thank you for having such a lovely place for visitors to stay. Can’t wait to return!

Lovely garden

OK - so when you stay with Fred and Carol, you need to work some garden time into your stay. With Covid, we brought meals back to the apartment and enjoyed them in the backyard garden which was in full summertime bloom. Throw in the relaxing water feature, and the garden is the place to be for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The apartment itself is designed with clever uses of space and beautiful woodwork throughout. A comfortable, quiet place to stay convenient to both old town and CSU. We'll be back.

Clean Beautiful Home and Friendly Hosts!

We found Carol and Fred's home on VRBO while making last minute travel plans. There were no reviews, but we took a chance, and we are SO glad we did. This a new vacation rental and that is the only reason they do not have many reviews. Fred and Carol responded to our questions promptly and had everything ready when we arrived. In fact, we were warmly greeted like old friends. The house was very clean and full of beautiful custom woodwork. The home is right in town, so you can walk to all Old Town has to offer. Although this was just a "vacation rental," it felt like an upscale bed and breakfast. The hosts offered me a glass of wine, gave my son a glass of fresh pressed juice from the garden's apples, and helped him build a fire. On our way back to the airport, my son couldn't stop saying "I like those people. They are SO nice." We are moving to Fort Collins, and feel like we have already met some new friends. Thank you again Fred and Carol!!

We are very active in the area with running social dances at our athletic club, road cycling all of the great roads in the area, enjoying the local hiking trails and the fantastic life style afforded by Fort Collins.
