Catalpa - Charming gîte in the heart of Perigord - Max 8 people

Welcome to the Domaine de Campagnac, luxury holiday rental, 4 gîtes: two of 4 / 6p and two of 8/10 / 12p all independent and not overlooked, one of which has its private heated pool (the Dryer). All our cottages are air conditioned and have free WIFI access.

We are located 1.8 km from the lovely village of Carsac and only 7 km from Sarlat, 2 km from the Dordogne, its beaches and its activities: canoeing, fishing, cycle paths, mountain biking tennis, and close to tourist sites , caves, gardens, castles to visit in Périgord.
These charming lodgings have all the necessary comfort for a stay in peace.
Each one has its equipped kitchen, the shaded terrace in summer, complete with a garden furniture and a barbecue. The plus: Each bedroom has its own bathroom and WC.

You will especially benefit from the superb heated swimming pool, and the SPA-Sauna space that can be privatized with the 24-hour schedule, to be used without moderation, so that your stay rhymes with sweetness and pleasure.
The Dryer and the Sheepfold from Saturday to Saturday (during school holidays)
Catalpa and Albizia from Sunday to Sunday (during school holidays)

Isabelle and Pascal, who fell in love with the region, were able to offer you the best of the Dordogne with respect for local architecture.

We built these lodgings in the local architectural tradition, as if we wanted to live there ourselves.
We built with natural products and took great care in choosing the decoration and the harmony of colors.

These rentals with their terrace have a clear view of the valley, are at the heart of the golden triangle of the Périgord noir. Close to all the major sites to visit in the region.
While being in absolute calm, only 5 minutes from the medieval town of Sarlat-la-Caneda, close to the Dordogne and its water sports,
 de Lascaux, Padirac, Rocamadour, Roque Gageac, castles to visit, chasms and caves. One week is rarely enough to
 discover all our heritage.

grand confort appréciable

La maison est idéale et confortable,cependant une chambre à 2 lits aurait été appréciable. La piscine , jacuzi et sauna sont des plus et la situation géographique parfaite pour les principaux sites du Périgord noir.

Lovley area nice setting

Nice position well decorated gite, outside area plenty of space loved the area as there are lots of interesting places to visit. We found the property fine for four to six people,except the toilets which were far too small for a larger person it is impossible to shut the door which is not ideal to have the door open whilst on the toilet, we were also not impressed by the email after we had booked asking for a large mandatory cleaning fee, money for bed linen and towels as when using a tablet this is not shown on the website and in any case where the information states linens provided and towels provided it should say available and state the cost. We have booked quite a few gites from home away and this has never happened before and i have advised them of this website.

Excellent cottage for family gathering

Really enjoyed a comfortable stay in such a lovely, relaxing situation. Beautiful area, clean, well equipped cottage and extremely comfy beds. Isa and Pascal were friendly, perfect hosts and the relaxation area - jacuzzi, sauna and pool were wonderful and daily used by us all. Lots of activities nearby - cycling, kayaking, castles, restaurants etc. Recommend this area and venue for all age groups.

Les propriétaires accueillant, le gîte le catalpa est très jolie et bien étudié .piscine et le spa aussi bien .

Tres beau domaine

De belles prestations pour la maison (literie extra confortable, salle de douche et Wc dans chaque chambre, cuisine très pratique avec suffisamment de vaisselle pour 2 familles). Une très belle vue dégagée, piscine et jaccuzi Superbes. Un accès machine à laver en complément c est parfait. Points négatifs : Wc vraiment trop petits, les poubelles à emmener assez loin, il devrait y avoir des containers vu tarif de la semaine, piscine occupée par la famille des hôtes, la tondeuse passée quand nous y étions et Un kit charbon d accueil aurait été apprécié. Le tarif de la maison étant assez élevé, nous étions de ce fait peut être assez exigeants. Ç est quand même une tres bonne adresse pour passer ses vacances dans une très belle région.

Un séjour idéal...

Séjour très agréable dans une maison typique de la région rénovée avec beaucoup de goût et dans un cadre calme et verdoyant. Toute la famille y a trouvé son bonheur, piscine et jacuzzi pour les grandes, balançoire et toboggan pour le petit. Nous avions loué la villa pour deux familles, chaque chambre ayant sa salle de bain et ses toilettes, un vrai plus... Une semaine ne nous a pas suffit pour visiter cette région riche en activité : château, canoé, villages, grottes, marchés,...

Superbe gite

Le gite Catalpa est très confortable et bien aménagé. Nous avons apprécié la salle d'eau et WC dans chaque chambre. Le domaine est calme et très bien situé, près de Sarlat et de la Dordogne. Très belle vue, superbe piscine.

Très bon séjour dans cette belle région, comme d'habitude. Très bon accueil des propriétaires très sympa. Piscine, jacuzzi et sauna très propres. Il manque peut-être quelques accessoires dans la cuisine (petites cuillères) mais le cadre fait tout oublier. Merci encore et à bientôt

Dans un domaine parfaitement bien entretenu, au calme et extrêmement bien situé dans la région. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour au gîte Le Catalpa- le gîte est fonctionnel-très bien équipé- d'une propreté impeccable- la décoration y est très soignée- les propriétaires sont disponibles et à l'écoute. perfect, perfect location

I am usually wary about glowing, gushing reviews but I find myself writing one. Le Domaine de campagnac is everything one could wish for in a holiday home. Isabelle and Pascal were welcoming, on hand if needed but never intrusive. The facilities in the gite were first rate and the whole property was one of beauty, peace and tranquillity, apart from the shouts of our grandchildren enjoying the pool. Our visit coincided with a heatwave, so we appreciated the shade, the thick walls ,( as well as the pool). The area offers a mulititude of activities: castles, cavemen and canoes; boat trips, buildings and bastides: not forgetting the gastronomy for which the Perigord noir is famous. I could go on but enough to say that Isa and Pascal have created(and are creating) an excellent gite; one we would be most happy to return to in the future.

Gîte très agréable dans un beau domaine

Le gîte Le Catalpa est très bien conçu pour 8 personnes. L'espace est optimisé (la place dans les WC un peu juste cependant). La literie est parfaite. L'environnement est agréable et les installations (piscine chauffée et jacuzzi) appréciables! Le domaine est facile à trouver et l'accueil sympathique. Je recommande!

Logement propre, bien équipé, confortable et bien entretenue. Les propriétaires sont très sympathique et nous ont donné beaucoup d'informations sur les endroits à visiter. Excellent weekend au Domaine de Campagnac

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour en famille dans un cadre verdoyant et respectueux de l'environnement. L'accueil chaleureux des propriétaires nous a laissé un très bon souvenir de cette location et nous reviendrons certainement dès que possible car nous n'avons pas tout pu découvrir de la région en quelques jours.

GÎTE ENTRE AMIS OU EN FAMILLE

Entre amis ou en famille ce gîte le CATALPA au domaine de campagnac est idéal , les 4 chambres ont chacune leur douche à l'italienne et leur propre toilette, nous avons pu manger dehors au mois d'avril le soir avec le soleil couchant sur la terrasse, nous avons profité au max du Jacuzzi et du sauna.

Très beau domaine
