Charming property in Périgord Noir, private swimming pool and tennis court.

Welcome to our family home, built in 1868, nestled in the heart of the Périgord Noir and the Dordogne Valley. Situated on a private 15-hectare estate with breathtaking views of the Bastide town of Domme, it offers an ideal setting for a relaxing holiday surrounded by nature.
Modernization work was carried out in 2025: the kitchen and bathroom were completely renovated, and a shower room and toilet were added.

Just 500 meters from the Dordogne River (accessible by foot), you can enjoy swimming, a canoeing center, and a restaurant. The region's most beautiful tourist sites are nearby: Sarlat, Beynac, Domme, and La Roque-Gageac, among other beautiful villages. Visiting the many medieval castles nearby will make you fall in love with this wonderful region of the Périgord Noir (Castelnaud, Les Millandes, Marqueysac, etc.).

Vitrac is a charming little village just a stone's throw from the estate. We particularly recommend a visit to "Chez Ninon," a delicatessen/tea house, where you can enjoy breakfast in the morning or a drink in the evening.

The region is renowned for its gastronomy; don't miss the markets in Sarlat (Saturday), Cénac (Tuesday), and Saint-Cyprien (Wednesday and Sunday). There are also numerous restaurants.

In addition to visiting villages, castles, and gardens, you can also have fun in treetop adventure parks, via ferrata, hot air ballooning, canoeing, and golf.

Rentals are accepted from Saturday to Saturday only.

The property is for 10 people maximum (baby and children included), additional persons are not accepted and the reservation will not be valid.

Great house in fabulous location

A well equipped house in the most spectacular part of the Dordogne with stunning views of the picturesque hilltop village of Domme.Large grounds, big bedrooms and a 2 minute walk to the village bar and creperie.Canoeing on the river Dordogne is a 4 minute drive, Domme is 10 minute drive, and the amazing town of Sarlat 10 mins away too.We would like to make a return visit.

Perfect family getaway

A spacious, clean and well appointed property ideally located for visits to the canoe centre, Domme and Sarlat. Tiphaine was the perfect host and helped us orientate on arrival. The tennis court (bring rackets) is maintained to a high standard and the pool kept very clean, while the surrounding gardens provide welcome shade in the afternoons. The WiFi signal was significantly robust to satisfy our childrens needs. We have no hesitation in recommending this property as an ideal family holiday destination.

Mooi oud huis, ligt prachtig. Mooie omgeving vlakbij winkels, supermarkten en de rivier. We hebben lekker getennist. Enige minpuntje is de wc op de eerste verdieping, deze is bij het doortrekken erg gehorig. Heerlijke week gehad!

Beautiful house and location

We had a wonderful time staying in Vitrac. .The house is beautiful, comfortable and tastefully decorated. The view to Domme from the house and terrace is wonderful. The large pool was great during the hot weather. There is lots to see and do in the area. We would definitely return. The owners were quick to respond to any queries. Une maison pleine de charme.

Nous avons passé une semaine au Chalet. 7 personnes allant de 7 à 77 ans. Le site est idéal pour visiter le Périgord noir. À côté de Sarlat et de la vallée de la Dordogne. C’est une maison de famille construite au XIX ème et remarquablement entretenue par ses propriétaires. Les pièces sont vastes et lumineuses. Dans l’immense parc il y a une grande piscine et un tennis. Le tout en parfait état. Tout ceci fait oublier quelques petites incommodités comme la petitesse des salles d’eau. Les grands comme les petits ont adoré cette maison.

truly lovely house in Dordogne

This was a truly lovely house. Grand, spacious, high on a hill with lovely views, and a luxurious swimming pool for when we were not touring the many lovely towns and villages easily accessible. Whenever there was anything that needed to be taken care of, there was a prompt response and easy solution. Tiphaine, the daughter who handles the rentals speaks excellent English and is lovely and responsive. I have only wonderful things to say about our experience here. This form did not go back more than a year, so I listed our date of stay as September 12, 2015. We actually stayed there in July of 2015. That was a hot month, and even so the house and grounds were comfortable, with a nice breeze because it was on the hill. And it made the swimming pool wonderfully luxurious.

Un petit bijou au coeur de la Dordogne

Magnifique propriété située à quelques pas de la rivière (et de toutes ses activités ludiques) , nous y avons passé deux semaines extraordinaires en famille avec enfants, parents, grand-parents.Une vue splendide sur la ville de Domme depuis la terrasse, des couchers de soleil à couper le souffle sur les collines avec les montgolfières qui se partagent le ciel...La propriété est parfaitement entretenue, très bien équipée, décorée avec beaucoup de goût. Très belle piscine (bien sécurisée pour les enfants). Un calme Olympien y règne, une maison de famille comme on les aime ! Nous y reviendrons avec grand plaisir ! (sans oublier l'accueil chaleureux...Un grand merci aux propriétaires) ...20/20 !

Excellent séjour à Vitrac

Excellent séjour à Vitrac dans cette maison familiale pleine d'atmosphère. La vue est magnifique et la situation idéale pour visiter les villages environnants le long de la Dordogne. (y compris en vélo pour les plus vaillants!) Espace et calme pour profiter agréablement du tennis et de la piscine !
