Charming & quiet neighborhood, very traditional & cultural in Geisha district-Gion
8mins walk to Kamo River.
5mins walk to local supermarket & 7-11 store
Walking distance to Kenninji, Yasaka Shrine, Kiyomizu-Tera

6mins walk to Keihan Railway Kiyomizu-Gojo station; 8mins to Gion-Shijo

The traditional house is located in the heart of Kyoto-Gion, Kyoto's most famous geisha district. Yet a very quiet residential area with traditional Japanese houses.
5 minutes to Keihan Railway and 10 minutes to Hankyu Railway line. It's only two short blocks from the famous Kamogawa river, walking distance to numerous famous locations.
It's also close to Lawson 100 (most goods are 100 Japanese Yuan). On the opposite direction, it's only 15 minutes walk to the Nishiki Market.
10 mins from main restaurants strip and 20 mins from Kiyomizu Dera. There are a great cake shop and wagyu beef(和牛)shop close by, for those meat and sweets lovers
Beside this one, we have another property right next to this one, which is a 3-bedroom house, can host up to 10people.
If you have a large group over 10 people, you might like to book the two at the same time.

Perfect location!

Great location and very nice and quiet at night. Communication was very quick with responses and all questions were answered with care. Perfect for enjoying the classic geisha town atmosphere. Tha k you so much!

Gion home

Great location. Lots of restaurants nearby and bus/subway a short walk. The set up is a little different: There is a bar for as your kitchen and dining area, instead of a table. The entire bathroom is your shower, so there is no place to store your toiletries. Warning - washing machine takes 2-6 hours depending on the cycle selected.
