Beautiful Buckden
The street appeal fabulous. Onsite parking. Convenient location to sightseeing. Well equipped cottage. Loved that an oven and washing machine were installed. Very cosy. 3 negatives Toilet seat loose shower mat needs replacing as mouldy. I tried scrubbing it but stains ingrained. Kitchen knob above sink comes off as threadbare. This did not stop us from loving this area....

DO NOT BOOK WITH COTTAGES.COM!!!
Cottages.com, who manage this property, have an active interest in NOT responding to customer service requests. All of their communications are generated by robots. They did not inform us of the need to establish an account at their website, nor did they clearly indicate how to access the cottage before our arrival, If you manage to connect via telephone, their personnel will talk over you and then hang up on you. THE COTTAGE HAS NO MOBILE/CELLULAR COVERAGE. For some, this will be a plus—an opportunity to disconnect—but we had no email access as a result of this issue. The location and layout of this cottage are lovely. DO NOT WORK WITH COTTAGES.COM!
