I had a great one-week stay with my family of four. We spent most of our time out in the city, but it was nice to have a space with more room than a hotel to come back to. The neighbourhood was lovely with so many places to eat and a metro station close by. We would definitely stay again!

Quaint little loft with LOW ceilings
The loft was cute and quaint. Small and quiet, and it was located in a good area. There are several local bakeries and coffee shops a few steps away, and there is a laundromat across the street that came in handy.
The only thing to note is that the upstairs has VERY LOW ceilings. I am 5’2” and I hit my head a few times. The downstairs is okay, but only 1 bed is available downstairs. So the upstairs is really only for sleeping.
One concern I had is that they didn’t provide any paper towels, dish sponge, garbage bags, or dish soap. I was only there for 3 days and I think it’s unreasonable to go and buy those items when I am in a foreign country. Just a small starter amount could have helped.
Absolutely awful experience! Black mold EVERYWHERE and when we let the hosts know they said they did not have proper cleaning materials to fix it (although they had known about it for weeks according to a previous review with similar issues). We could not stay there due to health concerns with my brother and when we asked for a solution, they dodged our messages for days through the entirety of our booking. We lost thousands of dollars having to find a new booking last minute due to their lack of communication, professionalism, and the fact that they would continue to let people stay in their mold infested space. The worst booking experience I have ever had
Javel means bleach in French and I needed an entire bottle to rid the bathroom tiles around the tub of the black mold - didn't get to the floor - sorry future guests
black mold in the kitchen and bathroom corners too
I had to ping owners day before to get arrival instructions - was told someone would meet me at the appt time - no one there
called and got the code to get in and the cleaner had just arrived and was doing her best - linens were decent - towels you can spit through
no welcome packet to explain WiFi (3G? btw is what my phone said) what to do with the keys at check out - different cleaning person arrived before check out time so we just left the keys with him and couldn't get out fast enough - no info on neighborhood restos or interests
those cute trompe l'oeil books on the walls were painted over with paint that doesn't quite match
Look closely at the kitchen - you have a microwave, tea kettle, coffee maker and toaster BUT NO PLUGS
new cook top that doesn't work or has no instructions how to use- pushed every button avail and no response
Junk all under the ladder to the upper loft
Junk in the cupboard under the non-working cook top - found a power strip to plug some of the appliances in but didn't dare plug more than 1 at a time and frankly all was so dirty only made coffee twice
"TV" is ... I don't know what it is - my dell xps 13 is bigger and had to unplug the :TV" anyway to make room for the power strip to make coffee
rat's nest of plugs around the sole outlet (Notre Dame burning down due to electrical overload anyone???)
Pull out couch is totally torn up - put it back and friend just wrapped herself up in one of the sheets and had the worst sleep of her life
Get an IKEA bed frame - 59 euros at the La Madelaine location - for the mattress on the floor in the loft!!!
Guys - CLEAN it up, paint it all one color, get an electrician in to remedy the plug situation and get rid of the junk all over the place. Have a welcome packet with instructions and communicate with your guests in a timely manner.
It has such potential to be really cute and comfy.
