Delightful 2 bedroom accommodation - La Petite Maison

This converted farmhouse, built in the C19th, is set in beautiful rolling countryside surrounded by vineyards and woodland. La Petite Maison is one of three gites at La Colombiere. The gites are not connected to each other and each have their separate terraces with BBQ.
La Petite Maison is a delightful holiday home combining the best of ultra modern and French traditional. Downstairs you will find a modern fully equipped dining kitchen and a light airy comfy lounge with TV/DVD and log burner.
On the first floor you will find a king size bedroom, a twin bedded room and a shower room
La Petite Maison is one of three gites at La Colombiere. The gites are not connected to each other and each have their separate terraces with BBQ.
The property is well suited for all types of traveller, nestled in a hamlet 6km from the historic medieval Bastide town of Eymet and just 20 minutes drive from the bustling market town and airport of Bergerac. The surroundings offer a fantastic balance both for those wanting to escape and unwind for a few days or for those looking to cram their schedule full of history, culture and activities.
Other facilities on site include; Heated, shared outdoor swimming pool with large sun terraces and shady areas; large lawns surround the property and are suitable for a variety of ball games, an 18 seat cinema, games room with tennis tables pool table and darts, quiet parkland leading to a woodland walk.
We are also happy to help with bookings for local restaurants and activities, etc.

Beautiful property in a lovely location just a short distance from Eyemet. Very comfortable and renovated to a high standard. Very relaxing lounge, modern eat in fully equipped kitchen and 2 good size bedrooms with nice bedding and modern bathroom with shower and a hairdryer. WI-FI was very fast. Parking was very easy plenty of space at front of property. Pool was a good size with nice loungers and parasols also a toilet and bar area. Lovely relaxing area to sit just behind the pool to watch the sun set overlooking fields and sunflowers. Eileen was a lovely friendly host and made us feel very welcome even inviting us to a BBQ with her family and friends. We would definitely stay again if we wanted to be in the area. There are lots of places to explore in the surrounding area but you do need a car. We were out and about every day and visited some lovely towns and villages. We were also lucky enough to be there for Bastille Day and went to watch the firework displays at both Biron and Bergerac. The Night Market in Eyemet was worth a visit and there are lots of restaurants in the town as well as a supermarket and petrol station which was extremely handy. Thanks Eileen you were great and hope to see you again some time.

Nous avons adoré cette maison ! Elle est située dans un très grand jardin très bien aménagé, avec une grande piscine chauffée. Nous sommes un couple, le gîte a tellement d'espace pour nous ! Nous avons prolongé notre séjour d'une nuit et sommes restés encore une demi-journée avant de quitter la maison ! Vous allez adorer ici, c'est sûr! Alors seule "chose" est: la maison est loin de la ville de Sarlat-- le Roque Gageac -- le Château de Beynac, mais elle est proche de la ville de Bergerac. Si on s'attend à une amélioration, ce serait un pressoir à jus d'orange. Prendre un verre de jus d'orange au petit-déjeuner ressemble plus à un petit-déjeuner de vacances :-) Ils ont 3 gîtes en fait, profitent de la même piscine et du même jardin, mais chaque gîte a son propre espace pour plus d'intimité si nécessaire. Pendant la pandémie, peut-être que les locataires ne veulent pas partager la piscine, etc., mais après la pandémie, ce ne serait pas un problème pour un si grand jardin et une si grande piscine...

Stay at La Colombiere

A delightful property in a stunning location in the middle of the Dordogne countryside. The house has plenty of grounds in which to roam or play and the family particularly enjoyed the swimming pool and games room. All facilities are provided in the house and if we wanted any additional equipment, such as a barbeque, we only had to ask. Eileen and Richard were the perfect hosts and nothing was ever too much trouble for them. We had a perfect, relaxing week and will definitely be returning.

The location and property was perfect for our stay. Richard and Eileen were perfect hosts.

La Columbiere is an impressive gite complex with a lovely pool and lots of space. Close to the Bastide's and enjoying a great location. We found Richard and Eileen to be perfect hosts and we were also pleased to say hello to other guests.
