You were great guests. Would absolutely have you again and will look forward to it!
My mom (84yo) stayed for about a month while waiting for her house to be move in ready. Great location, beautiful rural property but right on the main road to Watkins Glen and a bit farther to trumansburg and Ithaca, but close enough to visit easily. Small place and a blast from the past with vintage kitchen and great vintage furnishings make this functional but also quaint and give you a feeling like you have stepped away from the bustle of life for a while. It also has all the newer necessities like TV and wifi so you can get away, but still be connected. Owner was so kind, meeting us to ensure that mom could find her way and would feel secure, which she did, and she thoroughly enjoyed her stay. Then he worked with us so she could extend her stay when necessary. Great find, beautiful, back to nature feel with a personal touch! Thanks so much!

Kit was great, and her mom was such a pleasure to host, she made the property look good. My thanks to them both.
...and nothing you don't. Quiet, private, and affordable, this shabby-chic offering is great for a couple looking to explore the finger lakes area. Very much a cottage-like experience with a clean-but-worn feel. The only downside would be that the bed is just a full and could be less than optimal if you're taller/larger in stature.
This rustic hideaway was in a great location for exploring Seneca, Keuka, Cayuga and Skaneateles lakes. Quiet, and modest, it provided everything we needed for a week's stay. The friendly owners were readily accessible to help with spotty wifi and are addressing that issue for future guests.

Mary and Tim were lovely guests who would be welcome back anytime. We appreciate being told about the wifi, and yes, we're replacing the extender for future guests.
The cottagette was adorable and fully equipped. The host was very friendly and helpful, and was readily available if we needed help/had questions. The place is in the middle of the woods, so it's quiet (perfect for those who are light of sleep), but it's also only about 10-15 minutes away from Watkins Glen, so it's well located. If you take a walk into the woods behind the cottagette and follow the trail, you end up at a private gorge (owned by the host; it's absolutely beautiful!). I highly recommend this place!

Why they chose this property
We live on a pretty much miraculous property, five minutes from a convenience store (not to mention wineries) and five minutes from the woods. We were incredibly fortunate to stumble upon it many years ago.
