We are staying in 4 different places around Portugal, and this is the accommodation I was most nervous about. There was no communication from the host apart from check-in info which was instigated by me, even when he said he would be in touch.
The accommodation was basic, but had everything we needed. Aircon was a big plus. However, the place lacked any comfort . One pillow per person, no cushions on the sofa (which was peeling and leaving a mess) and no where comfortable to sit outdoors except for at the pool, which was not somewhere we could be when the children were asleep The pool was great and the outdoor space very lovely.
The area was fine. We visited Lisbon with ease, but beaches were not easy to visit. We went to the pool instead.
Probably wouldn’t stay again, as it was more expensive than all our other accommodations (all with pools) and it has been the most uncomfortable and basic.
Cleaning and site staff were very friendly!
