My spacious air-conditioned 150 square metre / 1615 square feet, 4 bedroom apartment, is located in a traditional 1950's building, lovingly restored for modern living.

I designed it for families or friends travelling together to be able enjoy a luxury stay right in the heart of everything our amazing city has to offer.

￫ My apartment is on the 2nd floor and like many historical buildings in Lisbon has no lift. However, being at the top is an advantage as you get the most light, best views and no noise from neighbours above you which is often a big problem elsewhere.
￫ The stairs also help you burn off the calories from the fresh yummy Pastel de Nata you will be eating from the local bakery each morning ;)
￫ We are always super flexible to try to accommodate late check-out and early check-in subject to other guests arriving or departing.

￫ Being in the very centre, you can enjoy the city on foot and won't need a car as public transport and Uber / Cabify are fast, cheap and ubiquitous

￫ If you feel like exploring further, maybe to spend a day at Cascais or Estoril beaches, with direct trains from nearby Cais do Sodré train station. Meanwhile the Metro stations of Santa Apolónia (Blue line direct to the Zoo) is 15 minutes away

Weekend break in Lisbon

The flat was in a good location within a few minutes walk from shops and bars. The flat was great for a group of 4 to stay in - the only complaint I have is that only 3 bedrooms were made up for us to sleep in (there was an assumption that at least 2 of us would share a double bed). We managed to resolve this ourselves by hunting for spare bedding but this wasn't an ideal start. The flat is up 2 flights of stairs - not a problem for us but if you have mobility issues it may be tricky. The flat was very comfortable and despite being in the heart of a busy area was relatively quiet.

Lisbon Stay

The location of the property was pretty good. However, the upkeep was lacking, and the host response was non-existent. The freezer in the refrigerator did not work. The host was notified on day one but never fixed it. The shower in the master bedroom was taped off, and unable to be used. the electricity went out for an hour; the host was notified, and did not respond, until the next day. You should also be aware the apartment is three levels up. We managed, but it could be difficult for older people with their luggage.

Lack of Communications & Missed Expectations

The property is fine - good location - some issues...water stain in the upstairs loft on the wall, only 2 toilets when the listing said 3 toilets, power would go out for no apparent reason and we would have to reset the breaker; and well....we had some cockroach issues. The biggest problem - lack of communication. Whenever we tried to call the host during our stay, no one ever answered the phone. I was never able to talk to anyone about the above issues. I even emailed and no response except to the call the phone numbers that no one was answering. Responsive before and after our stay was also an issue. I did reach out to VRBO who said they will update the listing.

Great location; apartment and staff had some issues

Location was excellent, walkable to great bars/restaurants and great scenic lookout. What was an issue was the inaccurate listing, rude employee and maintenance/cleanliness issues. Specifically, it states 3 full bathrooms, however there's only 2 toilets (none in the upper level "master bath") and one shower was not working (marked off with masking tape), so we had to improvise/share, fine as we are all in the same family, but it might be awkward for others. Also, multiple cockroaches in the vestibule of the building and ceiling height in the upper bedroom was less than 6 feet in most places. When planning our check-in, ( driving from Lagos) and estimated our arrival to Jasmine at 3 PM but hit traffic and arrived about 4:10 (our check in listed as 4:00 PM). When we updated her that we were running late at 2:30, she said she had other properties to open and we couldn't get in until 7 PM! Luckily, she was there when we arrived at 4:10 but her communications by text were unprofessional, confusing and rude. She rushed us through check-in and was gone in 5 minutes. The biggest issue for us however was a strange, steady thumping noise starting around 11:30 PM and lasting 3-4 hours on 2 of our nights there. (sounded like someone had a large rug in a dryer?) Very odd, hard to sleep...recommend ear plugs.
