Large apartment (4th floor without elevator) in duplex layout fully equipped and modernized in traditional Portuguese house with the following layout:
Lower floor - Large room (40m2) consisting of dining area with table for 8 to 10 people and living room with resting area and TV with balcony and privileged view over the Tagus River, air conditioning for cold and heat; Double Suite (full bathroom with bath and shower) with TV and cabinets Bedroom with double bed and extra single bed; Single Room, Full Bathroom with Bath and Shower; Fully equipped kitchen including washing machines and all small appliances; Upper Floor - Mansarda (70m2) consisting of "open space" divided between living area with TV and sleeping area with 3 single beds; Independent room with single bed; Bathroom (washbasin and toilet).

Location / Access:
In the center of the capital (Alfama), in one of the most emblematic and picturesque neighborhoods of Lisbon, with its alleys and typical houses, restaurants and fado houses, monuments and traditional commerce.
Great access, taxis, Metro station at 50m, stop of the famous tram 28 (100m), bus at the door, 2 km from Rossio and Cais do Sodré station and just over 3 from St Apolónia. 10km from Lisbon airport. You won't need a car here.

Excellent location. Great views. Host was responsive.Following heavy rains in the night my bed was wet. When I stripped the bed to dry the sheets and pillows I noticed that the mattress was already water stained in the same place so this is clearly an ongoing problem.Flat is in need of renovations.Kettle and hairdryer both faulty.

Overall, this property was fantastic. The location is excellent, the views are amazing, and the interior is great for a group. Only issue we had was that we never received proper check-in instructions and had to reach out after check in time via customer support to receive them. Else, everything was perfect.

Great location and view. Rooms all spacious and clean. Bathrooms and kitchen could do with a little attention but other than that it was great. As others have mentioned the stairs to get to the apartment would be hard for some.

Great location and nice apartment

Superb location for exploring Lisbon. Amazing views from the lounge over the river. Bedrooms large and comfortable. Couple of downsides - bathrooms and kitchen could do with an update but ok especially as we spent most of our time exploring. There was also a lot of noise from renovation work on the downstairs apartment which did pause on our second day. Overall would recommend.

The apartment was really nice. The only thing I didn't enjoy was the strong fried fish smell all the way up 4 flights of steps and there was a bad odor coming out of the bidet in the master bedroom on the first floor. The apartment was very spacious and the landlord was very friendly.

The view from the property was wonderful and had us in the midst of the major attractions, restaurants and historic sites. We had three couples with our group so it would have been preferable to have had queen beds available for them. We are aware of what was advertised so this is a comment just for your information. There was some difficulty in having timely conversations with the property owner regarding the property address and requesting additional supplies in the unit. The maps and other material in the unit were very helpful. The on-line information did not make it clear that you needed to walk through the upstairs large bedroom to get to the small bedroom. This made things somewhat awkward regarding privacy. Overall we were very happy with the property and we thoroughly enjoyed Lisbon.

Lovely fourth floor apartment with a water view that is walking distance to many of the sites we wanted to visit. There is underground parking across the street. The metro, bus and trolley stops are within 2 blocks. The train station and ferry are within walking distance. Many restaurants close by. Antonio responded promptly when we had questions.

Incredible Location for Big Group in Lisbon

The apartment had everything we needed in an incredible location in Alfama. Walking distance to public transportation and many restaurants and shops. We traveled with five friends and we each required our own sleeping space. This apartment fit the bill. Owner was attentive to our requests. Be prepared to walk 5 flights of stairs to reach the apartment. It was well worth it to have the views of the port.

Great location to see historical Lisbon

The place was great for the entire family. The apartment was clean and the view was great. Owner communicated well with us. Only issue was that we did not realize there would be five flights of stairs to the apartment. If you visit Lisbon you should expect hills. Just be careful for older adults. The five flights were hard for my mother.

Fantastic apartment with incredible views and great location

Antonio arranged transport from airport in van for 35 euros which was much appreciated after long journey with 5 old ladies. Check-in went smoothly, then the lonnnnnnnnng haul up the 4 flights of stairs to the beautiful apartment on top with plenty of bedrooms and baths. Spent time watching the boats and people down below from balcony. Apt. was close to metro, so we could see sights there and did day trip to Sintra. Apt. also close to many restaurants to walk to. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there, it was very comfortable. Thank you very much, Antonio!

Wonderful Location!

My family and I really enjoyed staying in this Lisbon home. The location was perfect with so many shops and restaurants within walking distance. If I had to come up with a negative it would be the flights of stairs that you have to climb to get to the apartment. I am used to not having an elevator in Europe so it wasn’t surprising to me but if you were traveling with someone older it is noteworthy that it could be difficult to climb the staircase every time you were coming and going. The owner was very quick with his communication to me. My family loved it and would stay here again. Thank you!!

Amazing!

This property far exceeded all of our expectations! The pictures really don't do it justice. It's beautiful, spacious, and peaceful. Incredible view of the water. It truly feels like a home where you can relax. The location is perfect. We were just a few minutes walk from anything we wanted to do. The train station is less than ten minutes away, so getting to other parts of the country was incredibly easy. So many fabulous restaurants within a few blocks. Hard to beat! Our host was so kind and friendly. We didn't have many needs while we were there, but when I did reach out, he responded right away. He seemed to genuinely care that we were having a good time, which was so nice. I cannot recommend this beautiful apartment highly enough! We loved our time here and were sad to leave. The perfect spot in Lisbon for groups or families!
