Spacious farm cottage full of character - rural yet close to beaches & castles
Welcome to our lovely cottage! Formerly a cow shed (a long long time ago!), this delightful two bedroom cottage is the perfect rural retreat for a relaxing Pembrokeshire break. Superbly located to enjoy all of Pembrokeshire's treasures - castles, coast, countryside, attractions, shopping and food - you will love your stay here. Perfect for families, couples or friends, it is comfortable, well equipped and spacious - you'll feel immediately at home.
Over three levels, the cottage offers a sense of space and bags of character.
As you come through the front door, you'll see stairs up to bedroom and stairs down to the living area. And you'll find a cosy twin bedded room with some tiny window nooks, reflecting its former role. A generously sized family bathroom is adjacent, with a large shower and a bath. Plus a utility room, with washing machine, fridge freezer and space for coats and boots.
A few stairs down lead to a wonderful open kitchen-diner-sitting area which is well equipped and perfect for cooking up a storm, enjoying fun times around the table and relaxing on the comfy sofas. Double doors lead out to a patio with picnic bench - and there is a lawned area with rural views beyond.
On the upper level is a very large bedroom with king size bed and en suite toilet.
2 cots and 2 high chairs are available for little ones.
There is parking for one car - in the farmyard.
Heading out? The quaint town of Narberth with its lovely shops and cafes is a few miles away, as is Bluestone/Blue Lagoon, Oakwood roller coasters and Folly Farm. For the beach, you can easily reach Saundersfoot, Tenby and Manorbier - or head to firm favourites Freshwater West and Newgale. You can hike along the stunning Pembrokeshire Coastal Path, or to get away from it all, you can explore the Preseli Mountains. And after you've explored Llawhaden Castle -literally on your doorstep - you will want to head to Carew Castle and Pembroke Castle to experience the rich history of this area.
Llawhaden is a small, tranquil village, conveniently situated a mile or so from the A40. It is on the 'Landsker Line' - a term that was used to describe the boundary between the Welsh and English speaking parts of Pembrokeshire. Llawhaden Castle is one a number of castles that sits on that frontier - a fascinating bit of history.
Owner lives in the adjacent farmhouse. No pets, but our very friendly dog may pop his head round to say Hi!

Lovely equipped home from home in a wonderful area. Lots to do and plenty of beaches and countryside to explore. Jess and David were both helpful and friendly.
Lovely 4 night stay at Villa Muneera. Beautiful cottage, clean and well appointed with amenities for a comfortable stay. The cottage is located close to the picturesque rural village of Llawhaden, which has its own castle ruins and church to explore. We found the location very cental for easy exploration of Pembrokeshire - a county with so much to offer and so many beautiful beaches.I would highly recommend Villa Muneera for rental and hope to return.

So glad you enjoyed your stay! We really enjoyed hosting you! Hope to see you again
A beautiful cottage in quiet rural setting not far from all the sights and activities that Pembrokeshire offers, only slight disappointment was that the log burner was not working at the time, but the heating soon warmed the cottage up.
We were delighted with this property and its rural location. The cottage is spacious, clean and well-equipped for a family stay. The surroundings are tranquil, and the neighbouring woodland makes for a superb addition, perfect for an afternoon ramble. Jess and David were very friendly and helpful, clearly passionate about the area and focused on providing a comfortable stay, and their big, friendly dog, Lewis, was great with our boys (a highlight for them). Nearby Narberth is fab for food options and there are an abundance of activities, restaurants, beaches and countryside to enjoy further afield. A stunning area, well worth the visit!
This is an excellent cottage for a Pembrokeshire holiday. Beautiful and quiet and in a nice central location so all the key places of interest such as Tenby, St David’s, Pembroke etc. are only 30-40 minutes away. Only five minutes up the road from Narberth which has a great selection of good restaurants if you don’t fancy cooking.
If you do fancy cooking the kitchen is kitted out with Neff appliances so it is clear the cottage has not been fitted out on the cheap as is sometimes the case.
The hosts were very friendly and helpful and there is always a lovely welcome from Lewis the dog whenever you get back for the day.
An immaculately presented, perfect base for exploring Pembrokeshire, located in a rural and very peaceful setting; yet only a short drive away from popular points of interest.
We adored our stay here, and felt so very welcomed. The cottage was well equipped, spacious, clean, and surrounded by an idyllic garden space, and beautiful woodlands.
A peaceful cottage located on the fringes of Llawhaden in an ideal location for exploring the beautiful Pembrokeshire coastline. Lots of things to do and castles to visit made for a very successful holiday.
We loved staying at this beautiful cottage. The surroundings are very peaceful and tranquil and we lived being able to eat outside in the sunshine. It’s in a great location to explore Pembrokeshire and a perfect size for a family. We stayed with two children and they enjoyed the grounds, meeting Lewis and visits to the local sights! Can highly recommend this place.
We decided to revisit Pembrokeshire quite late in the year and at quite short notice and we came across this property as advertised and booked it. It is a lovely conversion of a farm building and everything was as described. Superbly fittings and fixtures, no expense has been spared. Nice location handy for beaches, towns and the hills. Very quiet. Owner and her dog very welcoming and we look forward to a return sometime in the future
Perfect and peaceful family break in beautiful Pembrokeshire. Ideally located to explore the area. Jess and David were wonderful hosts and so accommodating. Even sharing their homegrown vegetables. The property was so homely, clean, well equipped and spacious - the whole family enjoyed the stay. Thank you!
Quiet cottage in an ideal place to visit Pembrokshire
Spacious and clean converted cow shed. Sleeps 4 very comfortably. A lot to do within 30-40 minute drives: sandy beaches, coastal walks (look out for seals and their pups during the summer, particularly around Marloes peninsula), castle visits, zoos for children, etc. Recommended!
Lovely cottage in a great location. Clean, well laid out, modern gadgets and quiet. All good except the fact we could not take their lovely dog Louis home with us !
Good location for exploring the area by car, short drive to Saundersfoot, local attractions for children such as Clerkenhill Farm, and some of Pembrokeshire’s most beautiful beaches are just under an hr away. Jess was very helpful with check-in & suggestions of where to go.
