About this property
Gorgeous 5* barn set in tranquil gardens and just a short drive from the coast
Ty Lloi (the calf barn) is a characterful and contemporary Visit Wales 5* rated barn which has been renovated and furnished to a high standard. Set in the grounds of Brimaston Grange with its own front and rear garden, it is perfectly positioned, close enough to the stunning beaches and wonderful walking opportunities that glorious Pembrokeshire has to offer.
Ty Lloi is situated in the heart of the tranquil hamlet of Brimaston. It is approached through its own gated driveway (parking for two cars) and across a delightful courtyard garden stocked with shrubs and fresh culinary herbs. We love the abundance of wildlife on our doorstep. Upon entering the barn the double height entrance hallway is light and bright and leads to the lounge area on the right with wood-burner, Samsung smart HD TV (connects to your Netflix or Amazon Prime accounts) and a Bose Soundtouch 10 system to enjoy your favourite music via Bluetooth from your phone/tablet. From here a door leads out to the sunny and secluded private rear garden. A large, comfortably furnished bedroom, complete with a 'Soak & Sleep' wooden king-size bed and Secret Linen bed linens, is to the left as is the bathroom with walk-in shower – luxury towels provided. A beautifully crafted beech wood staircase leads up from the hallway to the bespoke kitchen and dining area. The kitchen is particularly well equipped with induction hob, Bosch oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washing machine to make your stay easier.
A striking glass lined walkway crosses above the lounge area to a snug offering a quiet relaxation space with a variety of books on local walks, history, nature and cooking along with a good selection of fiction and non-fiction titles as are a selection of CDs, games, cards and puzzles.
The ground floor bedroom, bathroom and living room areas are accessible to all with the upstairs kitchen and snug accessible via the open tread staircase. The energy efficient barn is cosy-warm benefiting from passive solar gain from the large window array, wood burner (provided with free supply of wood harvested from our grounds), solar water heating (with immersion backup) and slimline neo-digital panel heaters to each room. There are solid oak floors throughout. High speed fibre broadband Wi-fi is included as are some larder essentials such as coffee, tea, eggs, milk and olive oil.
Up to two medium dogs are very welcome (a £25 charge is applicable per stay) although they are not permitted either in the bedroom or on the furniture and must not be left alone at any time.
The whole of the property is non-smoking.
Ty Lloi is perfectly positioned to access the numerous stunning beaches, the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, the wild North coast, St David’s Cathedral, the Preseli hills and the beautiful Gwaun valley. Newgale beach is just 5.5 miles. Haverfordwest is approximately 8 miles south for all the main town facilities. Pubs and restaurants are located equidistantly in the villages of Hayscastle Cross and Wolfscastle. An information pack is available with handy info including suggested walks and a local restaurant guide. Ty Lloi offers generous accommodation for discerning couples who enjoy walking, cycling, exploring, sightseeing or just soaking up the peace and tranquility in front of the wood-burner.
