A beautiful Villa, situated in the peaceful Portuguese countryside village of Calvana which is between Guia and Albufeira. It has picturesque views, a refreshing large pool and is the perfect spot for you next relaxing holiday. The Villa is an "upside down house" with the lounge, kitchen and main bedroom on the upper floor and 2 doubles and a twin on the ground floor. The downstairs bed rooms open directly on the lawned garden and the swimming pool, the upper floor has a full length terrace overlooking the pool and gardens which is accessible from both the main bedroom and the lounge, perfect for al fresco dining. The Lounge offers UK TV, more books than you can read , games and bi-fold doors which open out onto the balcony. Two outdoor BBQs offer options for outdoor dining both on the balcony and also poolside.
The private swimming pool is a saltwater pool that can be enjoyed all throughout your holiday!

Located under 10 minutes away from numerous long sandy beaches in the area, it is ideal for day trips out, or relaxing days in. With three double bedrooms, it works well for families and group of friends. With a fully furnished kitchen , you can just as easily cook in as dine out, thus providing a home away from home, and if you want to eat out Albufeira and Guia are only 5 minutes away. The Villa is situated within a small residential area, so courtesy and consideration around noises are expected form guests. If you are looking just to party this is not the Villa for you. This is a destination that would suit people wanting style and comfort with rest, relaxation and peace and quiet, but only 5 minutes away for the Algarve bustle. Faro Airport is only 40 minutes away and it is recommended you hire a car to give you flexibility to see other nearby attractions, Zoo Marine for example.

Rapport qualité / prix à revoir

Bonjour à tous, Je met un 3 à la note générale car le rapport qualité / prix n’est pas aux rendez vous. La maison est comme sur les photos… mis à part le côté vieillot des meubles accessoires etc. Ce qui m’as plus : maison assez en retrait. Donc si pas de voiture oublié, mais très bien situé dans le Gard pour pouvoir visiter plusieurs villes. Exemple maison située à 45 minutes de Tavira et 45 minutes de Lagos vraiment au milieu de l’algarve. La piscine est comme sur les photos. Ce qui m’as déplus : la maison est beaucoup plus vieille que sur les photos! la maison est beaucoup plus vieille que sur les photos. Les meubles sont vieillot. Les portes sont vieillot. Paul the property manager was excellent - great communication and went out of his way to get us some basic groceries when our flight was very delayed. Pool is lovely. Beds aren’t great - very hard and only a double in the master bedroom. We were there for 10 days and although the listing said we wouldn’t receive a clean in that time it would have been good to have one and a change of towels.

Lovely Place

A lovely place. The house is located in a quiet area and is very closed to Albufeira. I can only recommend this villa which is well equipped. The landscape is fantastic and we can see the ocean from the balcony . We will keep a pleasant memory of our stay. Regards Didier
