The cottage in an historic Oast, looking out onto the beautiful oak barn was perfect. We had a comfortable week staying here, the setting is idyllic. Sheep grazing in fields and listening to owls in the evening. Deana and Tim were welcoming hosts and made sure we had everything we needed. In regards to the a Covid situation we had no concerns and felt confident in the extra care taken. Thank you for a lovely holiday.

Thank you for your kind review. We are really glad you enjoyed staying at the cottages while you were working locally and that you found them so comfortable. We will look forward to welcoming you back before too long! Deana & Tim
Our stay at Frame Farm surpassed all expectations. A beautiful tranquil place for our nine nights stay. Weavers’ cottages suitable for any staycation with easy access to open countryside. Benenden village just five minutes walk away provides all that one needs. Footpaths and trails including North Weald Landscape trail easily accessible. Frame farm allows easy access and a central base to visit Tudor villages, gardens, vineyards and wineries, castles and a county steeped in history. After an enjoyable day out, nothing better than watching the sun set with a glass of one’s favourite tipple sitting on the patio. A great start to any day there is Yoga or stretching on the decking by the pond. We will return as so much more to do and see assured perfect accommodation. Linda & John

We met with Tim and Deana, they were very warm and helpful. They made sure we were comfortable and attended to our needs efficiently. The site is beautiful and the 13th century barn restoration was superb. We were given a tour of it, which was magical and ideal for weddings and corporate functions. Highly recommend it for a restful weekend away all throughout the year.

About the host
Hosted by Deana & Tim Maw
Frame Farm became our family home in 2015, purchased with the intention of creating an exceptional private venue within the redundant Grade II listed farm buildings that lie to the west of the Georgian farmhouse. Giving the barns a new life, the farm a viable future, and supporting local businesses was of great importance to us, so we embarked on a meticulous restoration programme that took three and a half years to complete.
We incorporated low-carbon technology into the design with a deliberate move away from fossil fuels and a focus on energy efficiency. During our first year we renovated Weaver's Cottages and installed a biomass boiler, which provides all the heating and hot water requirements for all the buildings on the farm. We introduced low energy lighting and appliances throughout the buildings and our solar panels now produce a surplus of energy which can be directed into the heating system.
Wherever we can we have recycled and reused building materials in the renovation. The old stable posts now support the pontoon on the pond and horse troughs form the sinks in The Oak Barn. We felled a huge dead oak tree on the farm and have used the timber for both the restoration and for our bar, benches and table.
Our achievements were recognised in 2021 by the Rural Business Award when they judged us the inaugural National Winner of the "Sustainability and Environmental Impact Award".
Aside from our green aspirations, we know that a warm welcome, personal service and relaxed setting will ensure our guests are easily captivated by the magic and beauty of Frame Farm. It is a very special place that we look forward to sharing with you.
