Casa Pillo has a large kitchen and triple living room with double-sided fireplace, 3 bedrooms that can accommodate up to 10 people, furnished in a rustic Tuscan style.

Five stars with warnings

The house itself is great with everything you need to stay provided, filled with an eclectic and quirky collection of furniture and fittings, it was a very interesting place. The view from the garden is fabulous regardless of the time of day. You will have nothing but the sounds of nature around you. Sandro, the owner's communication and assistance was excellent and couldn't fault it. Why the warnings. The 300 metre road up to it is very difficult and if you are not a confident driver you will have issues. Sandro describes it as a dirt road. A road implies a flat surface and this is rocky, bumpy and full of hollows and rises, and very narrow in places. You should not attempt it in a car that sits low to the road as you will damage the car. I was driving a standard road car and the floor was hitting the road in several places. We were a party of four, three with driving licenses, and i was the only one who was willing to drive the road up to the farmhouse. If you can cope with the road then the end result is worthwhile. I would return again but take an SUV type vehicle next time. A really interesting place.

Un bel endroit mais chemin impraticable

La maison est bien, cependant le chemin est presque impraticable sur plus d’un kilomètre, de plus il fait passer par une servitude chez les voisins (a quelques mètres de leur maison y compris la nuit). Notre séjour s’est mal passé, après plusieurs tempête, l’accès à la maison était impossible en voiture malgré les efforts du propriétaire. Après notre départ anticipé due une inondation de la maison, le propriétaire qui nous avait assuré rembourser les jours loupés, n’a plus jamais donné de nouvellles! C’est très impolis, bref endroits à éviter

Grazie del suo commento. Purtroppo c'era stata una tempesta che aveva fatto straripare un torrente e danneggiato la strada. La strada è stata subito sistemata. Adesso la strada è a posto. Saluti

La beauté et la paix

On se sent très vite chez soi! La vue est tout simplement à couper le souffle et nous garderons tous en mémoire les couchers de soleil sur le chianti. Le calme et la sérénité en sus!

Bellissima casa circondata dalle colline toscane

La casa si presenta molto bene e il suo punto forte è senza dubbio la bellezza del luogo in cui è situata. La casa è infatti sulla cima di una collina e la vista di cui si può godere è invidiabile. Sia l'interno che l'esterno della casa sono curati nei minimi dettagli. Il proprietario è stato molto gentile e disponibile. Consigliata per una vacanza con amici in tranquillità.

Nous avons passé un superbe séjour dans cette maison de famille très agréable (avec du cachet et du caractère), et plusieurs terrasses qui offrent une vue magnifique sur les collines de la toscane. La maison est isolée au milieu des oliviers (ce qui donne l'occasion de croiser quelques animaux). Elle est tout près de Florence. Les propriétaires sont extrêmement gentils. Il y a beaucoup de choses à faire alentour. On reviendra sans doute ! Wir haben eine wunderschöne Woche in dem Haus Pili verbracht! Sandro hat uns sehr herzlich und mit Späzialitäten aus der Toskana empfangen. Das Haus war sehr angenehm und wir hatten richtig den Eindruck, zu Hause zu sein und nicht in einem Ferienhaus. Wir waren zwei Familien mit 4 grossen Kindern/Teenager und wir haben alle dièse Stimmung genossen ! Die Lage ist total schõn : mitten in der Natur, direkt in der hügeligen Landschaft der Chianti-Toskana, und trotzdem nur 15 km von Florenz entfernt. Das Ideal für Familien, die sich nach Natur und Ruhe sehnen : wir konnten viele Sternschnuppen und sogar eine Eule beobachten... In der Woche war es sehr heiss und wir haben in einem kleinen See, nur 10 Minuten mit dem Auto Richtung Grassina baden können, was auch total schön war! Wir kommen bestimmt wieder !
