About this property

The Timber Barn is a charming, recently renovated barn conversion

Like its two sister properties, The Timber Barn is a barn conversion that has been renovated to offer a superior level of comfort. The owners have been careful to ensure that the property has retained its original rural charm and character, while taking advantage of its setting to ensure guests have wonderful views of the picturesque landscape all around. One of the delights of staying here is the fact that an award-winning restaurant is literally just a two-minute walk from the front door.

The open-plan living area has some superb views of the rolling landscapes of the Downton Estate, which extends to nearly 5,000 acres along the Herefordshire and Shropshire borders. There are plenty of footpaths through the woods and the area is famed for the beautiful Shropshire Hills. You’re also within easy reach of Ludlow, a thriving medieval market town with a beautiful and historic castle perched on a cliff overlooking the River Teme.
