NB Smoking within the apartment is discouraged, but the garden is very accessible
Further information: The studio apartment and garden are on the first floor of Greenwich House. The garden is a delightfully sunny and secluded spot set at the rear of the house, with well established shrubs around the curving paths, and a terrace with picnic table for outdoor eating. Its very quiet and private, and the big bonus of the studio apartment is being able to walk straight from the living room out into the garden, because both are on the same first floor level. Facilities: The mini-kitchen is complete with table-top cooker, full-sized fridge and combi microwave. In addition to the main living room the apartment has a separate bathroom with shower unit over the bath, and a dressing room. Sheets, blankets towels and duvets are provided. There is also a colour TV with DVD player, Radio with CD player, iron and ironing board provided for the use of the guests.
There is a good WiFi signal at the flat
A short guided tour of Ludlow is included in the price for anyone who is interested :)
PARKING: From 6pm until 8am there's free parking in the street. For other times there are various options with various prices, but the best option is in Smithfield car park which is £13 for a whole week just a 10 minute walk through town from the house. For loading and unloading 10 minutes is fine.

House was immaculate when we arrived and the host was more than accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend this flat to anyone staying in the area.
Fantastic location. Great communication and hostess was helpful and interesting. Well appointed property, lots of space and gorgeous garden. Can’t fault anything
Really handy accomodation, that was perfect for visit. Host was really helpful, gave me a call and didn't mind me checking in later than planned. There was everything you needed for a stay, plus lovely garden outside.
A characterful property in a good location, with a comfy king size bed. The apartment was spacious and it was great to be able to book at short notice. It is ideal for a short stay. Idiosyncratic in some of its arrangements and fittings, but all clean and in functional order.
The confirmation email from Vrbo had a picture of a completely different property but pre-booking description was correct.
Although the studio was clean I thought it was quite tired & needed freshening up. As there wasn’t an extraction fan I didn’t like the thought of cooking in the same room as the bed. Also there was only1 lounge chair so one of us had to sit on the bed or dining chair. The garden needed a real tidy up. Sue was a lovely Lady who had tried her best but I feel it was a little too much for her.
Our lovely host Sue met us at the train station and before taking us to our apartment, gave us a quick car tour to point out many of the interesting sights that Ludlow has to offer. This included the castle and other listed buildings (430 indicated on the Historic England Website); also, Whitcliffe Common where you get a fantastic view of the town with its castle and prominent St Laurence Church. The apartment is centrally located on Mill Street opposite the haunted Blue Boar and just round the corner from castle square with its tourist information centre. We loved waking up to the sound of bird song and looking straight out into the garden. The facilities were fine for what we needed and we particularly liked the quirkiness of the main kitchen area which is housed within what at first sight seems like a wardrobe with a mirror, cupboard and drawers! The town itself is very compact and could quite easily be covered in a day if you so wished, but with a decent guide book it is better to take your time to find out about the history of the town and its buildings whilst calling some of the many independent shops, cafes and hostelries that are located here. All in all, a very enjoyable stay.

So glad you enjoyed your stay Andrew, welcome back any time!
This was a nice little rental with a very attentive owner but there were some quirks that made it less family friendly than expected (2 flights of stairs to get to it, small steps up/down into rooms, no door on a bedroom). It really could be a 5 star place
with a deep clean and a few repairs . We did not feel comfortable using the kitchen for more than the kettle & microwave because it was in a wooden cabinet. The location and size was amazing though! It was a fine place to stay, just not quite what we expected. Sue (the host) is an absolute delight and was very helpful in getting anything we needed.
The accommodation was in a great place, the bed was soo comfy, lovely little garden. The kitchen area was unusual and qurky as it was in a wardrobe, lots to do around Ludlow. Some great restaurants. The market was amazing, some great food available. Beautiful areas to visit all around.

Three Day Stay
Property location is ideal for those wishing to visit the lovely town of Ludlow. Host very attentive, and full of information regarding both the property and town. Just one word of caution access into the property involves having to ascend stairs - so if this is a problem please look elsewhere.
A comfortable property with everything one needs for a short visit. Owner was very helpful and gave us an initial tour of the town. A light went out and she had it repaired immediately.

Staying at Greenwich House was perfect, The apt was comfortable and beautiful, Sue the landlady so kind, communicative and helpful. Thank you so much Sue! 😊Location couldn’t have been better for excursions around the town and surroundings.
Large living space looking out over a delightful back garden containing picnic table, perfect for sitting out for drinks, meals etc when the weather's fine. Greenwich House is ideally situated in the very heart of Ludlow which means the castle, shops, restaurants, pubs and galleries are on the doorstep in this fabulous town.

Amazing location, beautiful space and garden
This hidden gem was a perfect sanctuary for rest in between exploring Ludlow. It is literally 30 seconds from the bustle of the markets and Ludlow castle. A cosy and well designed space (love the secret kitchen!). Sue and Brian were so helpful and attentive during our stay, always reachable by telephone. Thank you so much! We had a wonderful stay. Much recommended.

wonderful stay in a lovely apartment
We visited Ludlow in spring this year to enjoy the restaurants and markets, and Sue's apartment was the perfect place to explore this hidden jewel of a town. Close to the centre, the flat has been lovingly restored with wood fittings and stylish furniture, including an ingenious "fold-away" kitchen. Sue gave the perfect welcome, very helpful with local knowledge and info... we'll definitely be back as soon as we can!

Simply perfect
The garden apartment is spacious and very bright, with a relaxing and inusual garden outside the main room where you can eat in sunny days. The bathroom is confortable and the kitchen very small, but right for two persons. The position is perfect, only few steps from the market square and from shops. The owner has been very kind giving us many advices about what to see, where to eat. I definitely recommend this apartment.
