Havendene in Haworth - Beautiful and Charming House in Heart of Bronte Country
Our beautifully refurbished Havenedene is perfectly situated close to the historic cobbled main street of Haworth, in the heart of Bronte Country. The house offers beautiful views and a prime location for guests looking to explore the village’s charming independent shops, pubs and restaurants as well as venture out into the beautiful Yorkshire Dales.
It is a short walk to the ‘Wuthering Heights’ moors, which inspired the English literary Bronte sisters, with commanding views from Top Withens. Just around the corner is the famous Keighley and Worth Valley Railway, an authentic steam railway brought to prominence in the film The Railway Children. You will find Haworth Main Street within a 5 minute walk with the Bronte Parsonage Museum, Haworth Church and some wonderful shops and eateries. For the active, there are lots of breathtakingly beautiful walks and cycle routes right from the door of the cottage. We also have horse riding, Alpaca trekking and water sports nearby that you can enjoy with your family.
The Yorkshire Dales National Park is a short drive to the north. The market town of Skipton, named "The Gateway To The Dales", is a true gem with Skipton Castle and many interesting shops and markets. Bolton Abbey is picturesque and only a short drive. You can also enjoy a visit to Ilkley, Halifax, Saltaire, Hebden Bridge and a little further afield are Harrogate and York.

Just home from a couple of nights at Havendene with a group of friends.
Tanya's communication was brilliant from the outset and throughout, and she provided lots of local information which proved very useful.
The house was spotlessly clean and very comfortable, a perfect location to explore Haworth and the surrounding areas.

Nice home
Property was spotless clean, if rather difficult to access if you are old or infirm- beign at the top of an almost perpendicular incline. A banister rail on the very narrow, steep stairs is required (health and safety??)
My family had a wonderful Christmas break at this delightful property. Very clean and tidy and superb communication with Tanya . We had some nice meals in The Fleece Inn, walked to The Bronte Waterfalls and visited the Bronte museum. We will definitely be returning.
We would have appreciated instructions for the heating as we struggled to work it and we were cold most of the first day, also a toasted would have been helpful as none in property

We are pleased to hear you enjoyed your stay. You’ve been really great communicating before getting to Havendene regarding two car park space, etc. it would have been great to just give us a call or text us and we would have let you know to just press the plus on the temperature control unit to put the temperature up and the minus to bring the temperature down. We’ve never had any problem before but to make sure all our guests have a 5 star experience that they deserve we’ve added a note in our welcome pack. Thanks for being lovely guests, we hope to welcome you back to Havendene soon.
Many thanks,
Tanya

Great place to stay. The location was very quiet. The beds were very comfortable. It was well equipped and spotless. Tanya the host gave us lots of ideas for places to eat and also for days out. Thank you Tanya for recommending Bolton Abbey. It was a lovely day out there

A wonderful break - thank you so much. Everything was beautiful. Perhaps a pint of milk in the welcome pack instead of wine, a couple more tea towels would have been handy and a potato masher (we dined in two evenings) however, lovely neighbours came to our rescue.
Would highly recommend. Once again thank you. Sabina , Delia, Theresa, Penny xxxxx
We really enjoyed our stay at Havendene. It is located in close proximity of the main village, nearby shops and Central Park, which is ideal for our dog. The property was very clean and well-maintained. Tanya was very helpful in providing us with a welcome pack and advice about things to do and visit which was a benefit for our short stay.

Thanks very much for your kind comments David. We are pleased to hear you had a nice stay and I really appreciate your feedback. We didn’t put microwave in the kitchen because of safety reasons in case guests use containers that are not suitable for microwave but we are now looking into adding a microwave and make sure we put some notes for our guests to use the dishes from the kitchen to warm up & prepare food as we have plenty plates that are suitable for microwave use. Next time you stay with us you’ll have microwave to use.
We are looking forward to welcoming you back soon.
Many thanks,
Tanya
