Dreamy seafront property
The boathouse was absolutely gorgeous, the view to Raasay was sublime. The property was very well equipped beautifully decorated and cozy. The underfloor heating was on low when we arrived however we contacted the owner and they came immediately to sort it out. We also had unbelievable weather for November which made for a fantastic stay on the island

Second visit as excellent as the first
We first visited the Boathouse a year ago and had an equally idyllic time this year. The location is great for access to both the North/South corridor of Skye (towards Portree and the Trotternish north and towards Broadford, the bridge, the ferry and the Sleat Peninsula to the South) but also, unusually, heading West towards Edinbane and Waternish. The house itself is well-appointed, super clean, has a great modern look to it and plenty of space, both in the bedrooms and the shared areas. Cannot complain in any way about any of it!

Beautiful location and property
Beautiful location, lovely property, nicely appointed with fine views across Loch Sligachan and the Sound of Raasay. There was some road noise, but we didn’t find it intrusive.Overall, the property was of a very high state of cleanliness, but it lost one star in that category as we found some crockery and cutlery with food and stains on them when we arrived. Some information on waste recycling on the property notes would be useful. We really enjoyed our stay at The Boathouse.
