This semi-detached cottage in Sconser near Portree sleeps six people in three bedrooms.
MacKenzie's Peak is a semi-detached cottage in the hamlet of Sconser, twelve miles from Portree. The cottage has a double room, a twin room and a shower room on the ground floor, along with a kitchen which leads to a dining room offering wonderful views from its large picture window. Upstairs is a king-size double bedroom and a sitting room which again offers spectacular views. Outside is ample off road parking and a garden with furniture. MacKenzie's Peak is a wonderful base for exploring and enjoying all this beautiful island has to offer.

Electric range cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, coffee machine, 3 x TVs with Freeview, DVD, CD/radio, WiFi, selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot and highchair on request. Ample off road parking. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop 12 miles, pub 5 mins walk

The Aros Centre, with its programme of concerts, theatre and cinema is well worth visiting and sports enthusiasts will be well catered for by the wealth of sea kayaking, rock-climbing and a good choice of well-marked walks across the island. The spectacular rock formations of Trotternish Ridge stretch for miles along the thirty-one kilometres of continuous cliffs, showing widely diverse pinnacles and forms. With the imposing Dunvegan castle, and the Talisker Distillery Visitor Centre, there's something for everyone to see on this very special island.
